@Null

I also emailed the admin email with proof, and donated about 2-3 days ago. I emailed the admin account yesterday. with a proton account. I dunno if it got through, as I know some people block mail coming from proton.me

Yes because otherwise every single talk to staff thread is instead a DM
That is understood. For future reference, would you prefer a TTS thread or an admin email, with questions about payment issues and such? What is most convenient?

So the actual bill for the stickers came in today.

Because I had to pay 3 euro and 62 cents of import taxes to the EU, FedEx gets to charge another 12 euro on top of that.

So 20 dollars in stickers, with 9 dollars in shipping, plus 3 euro 60 in import taxes and another 12 euro in administrative fees to Fedex for the 3 euro in taxes.

Total cost: 42 euros and 60 cents for 100 stickers.

Fuck Trump, Fuck the EU.
Fuck tariffs.

Edit: If you want help with finding an EU manufacturer for stickers for the next run and (also) produce in the EU, which should be easy with the Finland IBAN you have, let me know. I've solved less difficult "find me a manufacturer"-problems.

I don't know who originally created it, but you are a scholar and a gentleman.

I noticed my gold member status had lapsed a couple of days ago, right about when the DDOS attacks pushed us over to TOR. I noticed for the first time a notification with links and QR-codes to pay with bitcoin, etc. That's a great feature, and is sure to remind people to resub.

Unfortunately I haven't learned how to pay that way yet. I'm not against it in principle, I just need a stronger incentive. And for some reason I can't set up recurring bank transfers either. But since I've had luck manually paying for a few months now, I thought why not try to pay double the amount, and see what happens. Today I was notified that the payment went through, and I've gotten twice the amount of time to my membership! Next time I'll probably go even higher, pay for half a year or something.

Isn't this exactly how null described that it worked? Yes, and now I can confirm that it does work like that. I want to tell people they can have faith in the payment system, because I want more people to sign up. Go go!

Not all banks allow automated SEPA payments. My bank only allows them to their own accounts.
