But the more northern areas - Alaska, Finland, Russia, do have higher rates of depression and binge drinking. Do with that as you will.
Alaska in particular also has a super high murder rate. I'm gonna go with, no, they're not that healthy and scant sun doesn't help.

Plus, there is a big difference in saying that something isnt ideal but it's reality - in which case you should make adaptations to accommodate like sunrise alarm clocks and near infrared light early in the morning, and something being unideal and completely avoidable by not being a reality denying retard.

No, what would do us the biggest favour is repealing the 17th Amendment and return to the legislatures of the several states the duty of selecting senators for their states. All of those "progressive era" amendments (the 16th, 17th, and 19th) are total shit and need to be repealed as their progressive cousin, the 18th Amendment, was.

I remember the full-round daylight time of 1973-74. It was during the "energy crisis" surrounding the Yom Kippur War when OPEC hit us with an oil embargo. I remember the teevee images of "No Gas" signs and drivers lined up for miles hoping to get fuel for their cars, and the cockamamie "alternating fill-up days" systems they came up with.

But mostly I remember having to walk to elementary school in the dark. Oh, parents  hated that shit.
