Marvel Cinematic Universe

I've never seen Stranger Things, but wow that's a little young to have had so much work done. Her face is fubar.
She's like my age, I can't imagine getting massive work done that alters the shape composition of my jaw right now.

Jesus Millie, you should have at least waited 2 decades so you would be at the age where your face does slightly begin to change shape.

Doesn't she have a husband and kid, why does she care enough about looking good to cut up her face?

If she cought the fish why keep throwing bait in the water?
This may shock you but even after marriage, many people still like to look good for their partner.

The real question would be what sort of husband lets her feel she has to get facial surgery to look good.

I get that presumibly if he married her he liked what she looked like then, so why change the looks that got her the husband in the first place?

I had to house sit this weekend and decided to watch X-Men 97 because they had Disney Plus.

Holy shit, it's amazing how much this shits all over the past decade of the MCU.

Anyways, more stranger things "kids" are just going to keep me further away from the MCU at this point. I feel like MCU stans are like Connor McGregor stans who simply cannot accept it has gone to shit and desperately want to stay in 2013 to 2016.

Well yes. So either she feels she's not good enough for him; or that she's good enough in general. Either feeling a partner would take some blame for. Although a third option is possible which is that she just feels that way anyway. Lets not deny her agency.

I was just responding to the notion that once you're married you've somehow hooked your fish and are done. For either partner, really.

I really hope she wasn't abused on the Stranger Things set to the point where she doesn't feel goid enough and hope she is happy.

I just find it odd when as far as I can tell there was never anything wrong with her looks in the first place.

Never mind that sales go up everytime they put MJ with Peter.

Never mind that in the movies they have to resort to calling a character who is not MJ, MJ just to get viewers to accept her as Peter's love interest, MJ isn't Peter's love interest according to the editors of Marvel and comic book media.

What is that about?

Women marry men with the hope that they'll change. Men marry women with the hope that they'll stay the same. Inevitably both are disappointed.
