Evil Dead Burn was a sick followup to RISE. HOWEVER, what made the movie funnier to me is replacing the female lead with Jer, replace the dead guys family with the entire online community and the female lead not surviving.
I watched that last night and I'm still on the fence if it was better than Rise, it was grittier that's for sure and it had more brutality and mean spirit but the pacing of Rise was better and felt more like the original Evil Dead. The dad deadite with his dog really was a Jer kinda guy though. I'm gonna do a review for the movie on my channel that I'll never share here because I'm not a weird schizophrenic like that philosophy dude
I used to skim his videos until HE STARTED VAGUE TITLE SPAMMING. It also doesn't seem like anyone who uses de-arrow watches his channel because no one fixes the titles.

Oh yeah trust me I caught the post credits scene, it was great. I still think the original film and the 2013 remake are the best though, the setup of the original with the cabin in the woods is just the perfect horror movie scenario and the original has a creepy factor that none of the others have really replicated due to the low-budget nature. Also Within The Woods, the proof of concept film Sam Raimi made before the original with Bruce Campbell is also fucking great, I really love that low budget horror vibe. But the new ones are amazing, I loved Rise and Burn
PPP has brought this up before, but Jer is the type of guy to count all the pennies and ignore the thousands of his spending. He'll cry about how much lunch costs, and shooting his gun, and in my opinion, has avoided getting a haircut for months as an austerity measure

LOL. I remember his video from visiting one of the potential CBC sites popping up on my feed, and thought nothing of it other than discovering some new alog in the ecosystem. Then, I watched another of his videos and started to pick up "Something seems off about this dude." A few days later was when Bearing posted about the dude schizofrenically ranting about going through Jeremy's trash, and thought "Dayummm. I'm a good judge of character."
