A bunch of people on social media are saying this video shows the ball hitting a cable but it's clear as day it's just a ball going up and coming down in a normal parabolic arc. I swear people's brains trick them into seeing something that doesn't happen if they believe it enough and are dumb enough.

Funny story, I was messing around with the radio, stumbled across RAI Radio1 airing the football match just at the beginning and then I booed the Norwegian anthem.

Funny story from when Croatia still played: when England scored the first goal against us, some random boomer nearby (I was outside) started rambling about how the Englishmen sold our grandads out on Bleiburg. It was unexpected but unsurprising.

Now, my conspiracy theory is that Norway and Haaland are being astroturfed for reasons beyond my understanding (maybe someone bet good shekels?). I keep getting Revolut ads with Haaland and every so often I get memes about Haaland in my social media feeds. Nobody really cared about Norway football wise until now! Hell, Croatia has been the designated underdog among the public since 2018! Norway might seem like an underdog but CROATIA DOESN'T HAVE TRILLIONS OF OIL SHEKELS!

I get the story about Norwegians sending their own food and that's a very good move that did seem to give results. But this is beyond just that!

Whoever won this Match was who I was going to be who I chose to root for in the final. Though I am super disappointed we dont get more Haaland. He is my new favorite soccer player after this World Cup. Mainly because I know that, if he had been born in Minnesota and had a more corn based diet instead of Herring w/ Onion or whatever the fuck they eat in Norway, he would be the greatest Middle Linebacker the NFL has ever seen, I just know it!
