This ignores the immigrants who came here and didn't turn civilization into a shitheap like the previously mentioned Chinese immigrants or the jeets that actually came here for a better non Indian life who are now outnumbered 10:1 by sandeep and his 60 cousins who are just here to leach and bottom feed.
If you want my opinion on immigration as a whole it's that the immigrants we actually want who actually provide back to the countries they immigrated too are already here or aren't the majority of immigrants that come into the country now and we genuinely just need to stop all immigration period and reevaluate everything regarding it.

Honestly they should try finding any centuries old documents that actually say what land belonged to because historically the only land that would be argued as specifically native owned land would be where villages and such were built which are usually where cities today still are and not much else. Even shit like "spiritual land of x peoples/tribe" wasn't used to claim ownership just naming/mapping the local area.

They gave back an island to some tribe that said they occasionally used it as a place for summer homes. So they aren't even required to actually have lived there anymore lmao

We're finally at the point where they're starting to fight with each other because they're making claims over areas that overlap, but because the BC government feels it's "irrelevant" to have an available list of active claims no one actually knows what is or isn't being claimed until it's too late.

They're still mostly seen as unified "indians" currently but there's something like 500 active land claims, so when they're all overlapping each other at least the indian infighting might be amusing...
