Early Life
John Money was born on the 8th of July 1921, in Morrinsville, New Zealand, to a Christian fundamentalist family. His father in particular was an alcoholic who regularly terrorized him and his mother. His father died when he was only eight years old, and he was subsequently raised by his spinster aunts. These women held deeply misandrist views.Early LifeEven before then, from as early as five years old, he was frequently bullied at school. His main refuge from the bullies was a girl’s clubhouse, a place he knew that the bullies would not go anywhere near.
Between his father (his main male role model) being a religious psycho, his aunts being proto-feminazis, and hiding from bullies in a girl’s clubhouse, it’s not hard to see why John Money held the views on gender that he did, and why Miriam Grossman theorized that Money himself had some gender dysphoria:

University
He graduated early from Hutt Valley High School, and as such, he was unable to enter university right away. He spent about a year as an “uncertified teacher” before studying psychology at the Victoria University of Wellington. He went on to earn a double master’s degree in psychology and education in 1944.UniversityAs there were no universities in New Zealand that offered Doctorate degrees at the time, he emigrated to the United states, studied at the University of Pittsburgh for about a year, then completed his PhD at Harvard in 1952.
There, he developed an interest in studying DSDs, or what is frequently and incorrectly called “hermaphroditism” or “intersex,” which, alongside his childhood experiences, would further drive him towards developing his theories on gender and sexuality.
Transgender Theories, Word Games, and Pedophile Apologetics
From these rare disorders, John Money came up with a theory that everyone is mentally born a hermaphrodite, or as modern day queer ideologues would put it, “non binary.” That gender roles and identity were a result of nurture rather than nature. And therefore, gender identity could be separate from biological sex, and a man could be raised as a girl or vice versa.Transgender Theories, Word Games, and Pedophile ApologeticsWhile he was not the person who first used “gender” in regards to male or female (usually either a more polite word for “sex,” or describing what words in other languages were “masculine” or “feminine”), he was among the first, if not the first, person to use it in regards to gender identity.
He invented new words and terms like “paraphilia” as a replacement for the word “perversion,” as if to imply that perversions were simply another form of “love” rather than, you know, perversions. Two such words he coined were hybristophilia (sexual attraction towards criminals and psychopaths), or cronophilia (sexual attraction towards specific age groups, of which pedophilia is a subcategory).
Speaking of pedophilia, just like so many sexologists of his time, including a contemporary, Dr Kinsey, Money approved of pedophilia. He differentiated between “pedophilic sadism” and “affectional pedophilia,” arguing that the latter was just fine:

John Money was an early advocate of EPI (Early Porn Introduction). He believed that it was not only OK for children to look at porn, but that they should look at porn, and also be taught how do masturbate.
Needless to say, the root word “philia” is now overwhelmingly associated with sexual perversion to this day.
On the other hand, another term he coined, “sexual orientation,” does have mainstream use. This term refers to whether a person preferred to engage in homosexual activity, or whether they actually preferred to engage in the reproductive act with the opposite sex. Which, of course, played a role in the gradual normalization of homosexuality, as being simply an alternative “sexual orientation” rather than just another paraphilia.
Early Transgender/Intersex Surgeries
As early as 1960, John Money advocated for performing surgery on children with DSDs. Half a decade later, he co-founded the Johns Hopkins Gender Identity Clinic, and performed the first male to female transgender surgery on a patient referred by Harry Benjamin.Early Transgender/Intersex SurgeriesInterestingly enough, there were legitimate fears within this institute that they could be held liable for medical malpractice. A teenage snowdropper known as G. L. was prosecuted for stealing a purse, women’s clothing, and hundreds of dollars worth of wigs. Gender reassignment surgery was considered, but never performed. Doctors couldn’t help but wonder if this case could have set a precedent for dragging doctors into legal trouble.
Another concern was the “mayhem” statute (defined as intentionally disfiguring or maiming yourself, usually to avoid military service). Were it not for it being removed in 1963 from Minnesota law, that statute could have been used to prosecute doctors who performed sex change operations, or those who went in to receive those operations.
Fuck, maybe we should put that law back onto the books.
The Reimer Twins
The “highlight” of John Money’s career was when he worked with the Reimer twins. Bruce and Brian Reimer.The Reimer TwinsBefore then, Bruce got his penis burnt off in a botched circumcision, which of course, led their parents to cancel the operation for Brian.
But what would they do for poor Bruce?
The answer seemed to come to them when they saw Dr Money on television, discussing transgender surgeries and corrective surgery for DSDs. Apparently Bruce did not need to be raised as a castrated boy. Maybe raise him as a girl instead.
This was also the perfect opportunity for Dr Money. He had two boys, two boys with the same genes, and could therefore put his theories to the test.
He decided to have Bruce trooned out as soon as possible. Bruce's testicles were removed, though they didn't attempt to give him a fake vagina at that point in time. Money further instructed his parents to dress him in girl clothing, give him girl toys, and never tell him the truth about his actual biological sex. They would later administer estrogen to him in adolescence.
Bruce was thus renamed Brenda.
This whole ghoulish experiment would have been bad enough had it stopped at that. But no, it gets even worse. Dr Money outright molested both twin boys. He forced Brian to dry hump his brother in the missionary and doggy-style positions, or take each other’s clothes off to inspect each other’s genitals, and would become very aggressive and angry when the boys refused to do so. He took photos of all of this horrible shit too, obviously to add to his spank bank.
His rationale was that juvenile primates allegedly did “play at thrusting movements and copulation” as a part of gender development. Yes, because who hasn’t dry humped their sister, or been dry humped by their brother, as a young child, huh?
A Success?
Dr John Money insisted that this experiment was a success, at least up to when Bruce was ten years old. But it was anything but.A Success?Bruce never wanted to dress in girl clothing. He never wanted to play with girl toys. He always peed standing up. He was bullied for his masculine traits despite presenting as a girl, and was dubbed “cavewoman.”
The rest of his family eventually realized that John Money’s grotesque science fair project was not actually going anywhere. They finally told him the truth, and Bruce immediately detransitioned. “Brenda” did not go back to the name of Bruce, but decided to name himself David, after the teenager from the Old Testament who slew Goliath. He had his moobs removed and began to take testosterone.
In 1990, he married Jane Fontane and adopted her children. However, he could never overcome the trauma that he had experienced at the hands of the pedophile mad scientist. He was still grieving over the death of his brother, who intentionally overdosed on medicine in 2002. The last straw, however, was the loss of his job, a bad investment that cost him tens of thousands of dollars, and his wife wanting a divorce. On May 4, 2004, David finally put himself out of his misery by blowing his own head off with a shotgun.
Reaction To Criticism
As befitting a historical lolcow, John Money did not respond well to criticism. Colleagues described him as being privately “mortified” about the failed experiment, but publicly, he continued to defend his own indefensible actions, and framed all criticism of his ghoulish worldview and experiments as being right-wing and anti-feminist.Reaction To CriticismEarlier than that, during the Fifth World Congress on Sexology in Jerusalem in 1981, he made personal attacks against Judith Reisman, who openly criticized Alfred Kinsey, his methods, and his fraudulent work. He said that if she were allowed to continue, she would set sexology and sex education back 200 years, and that sexologists could not afford to let Kinsey’s image be tarnished.
Conclusion
John Money finally went to hell on July 7, 2006.ConclusionIn many ways, Dr John Money was an even bigger lolcow than Alfred Kinsey, and is more frequently used as a gotcha against the trans movement than Kinsey is to the sexual revolution as a whole.
And as such, unlike Alfred Kinsey, who is still defended and lauded to this day, the trans movement is, at least very recently, far more anxious to throw John Money under the bus. This despite the fact that John Money's work, his belief that sex and "gender" were two separate things and could therefore be incongruent to each other, formed the very basis for the post-Weimar transgender movement. Or that the trans movement still agrees with John Money that trooning kids out is OK, and still continues to railroad children like Jaron Bloshinsky into trooning out. Or that they can’t even decide whether or not they actually believe that gender identity is inborn and innate, that one point of contention they supposedly still have with him.
Nevertheless, it should not come as a surprise that the very field of sexology and comprehensive sex education is dominated by sexual psychopaths desperate to normalize and justify their own mental and moral sicknesses. It should not come as a particularly big surprise that transgenderism, the mindbogglingly stupid and hideously evil idea that men can become women or vice versa, was spawned by such monstrous "people" like Dr John Money.
Nor should it come as a surprise that a movement that spreads by grooming children was essentially produced by a mad scientist who openly defended pedophilia, convinced himself that it's perfectly normal for little boys and girls to hump each other, and diddled two little boys who went on to kill themselves.
