Phil was shown, with absolute certainty, to be a completely useless lobotomite looping and schizoing out like a broken chatbot without a chat to "yes, and?" or handhold him. The most the no handholding shit was gonna last was until he realized the dents could give live advice through his game guide discord chatrooms or however he's currently talking to his inner circle tards. Because Youtube fixed their jeetcode Phil's ego has blown up in size while his chat still has like 10 accounts typing at a time. This contradiction might make him sperg about the bug returning in a new fashion or something while demanding people talk in chat "because I went through the effort to fix this bug, show some gratitude" or some shit like that.

But yeah, I guess Phil won. He gets to toddle around in his own Youtube Chat Plays Dark Souls 2, getting mad at game mechanics he should know while begging to open card packs. He'll probably sneak beg to spread his card addiction to MTG or Yugioh because "peepul are tired of Pokeymon" even though it was maybe one person who said something like that, all while never playing any of the games with those otherwise useless cards because "muh tractors" and "muh physical collection, muh investments, dun wanna play digital". He gets to ask literal retards what goyslop to get with their money instead of just picking something like a normal person. He gets the last human interaction in his life besides talking at his momwife. And he gets to tell her about how he fixed Youtube and how important he is as her eyes glaze over. Pretty big W for The Guy.

In the end - this is a show where Phil is just the main character. Around him there are support characters, bit characters, breakout characters, villains, characters everybody hates and so on. If you are focusing extra hard on just Phil and his wins and losses - you'll be missing on the bigger picture and how the rest of the cast are entertaining in their own dented way.

Whelp guess we lost....until he begs like a crackhead again

Just goes to show that Phil has learned one thing: be a Karen and bitch endlessly and it will work. I mean he bitched to Asmon and got a visit. Now he bitches to Team Youtube and gets a fix. What's the bet that in the endless code there was a '(' missing or something?
Heck he bitches about detractors all day and usually his dented fans reward him with money
As Phil says, ask and ye shall receive.

Everyone has a bit of dent in their head.

I'm kinda curious to see if they actually fixed it or not. That response feels very generic, and DSP wasn't exactly descriptive in what the problem was in the first place. They might have been DMing behind the scenes, but for all we know they just banned the dude who owned up to doing it as opposed to fixing the exploit in the first place.

But even so, I think this
>exploit fixed
>Chat still dead

Phil's reaction?
shouldn't be overlooked. Phil's chat was pretty much a graveyard before the exploit, and we saw that, even when the exploit (probably) wasn't in effect, Phil was freaking out. With how paranoid Phil is, that means he's going to constantly be worrying about his chat being frozen when it's actually just moving at normal speed (barely at all).

And for me personally, I think it's funnier when Phil is being paranoid and freaking out about nothing at all. Like, what's funnier, if someone actually found a way to use rollback netcode to somehow create lag to beat Phil, or Phil just losing because he sucks at the game and him fuming to try and find an excuse that not even his dents believe? Now, he's going to constantly be asking if the chat is frozen, only for people to start typing, meaning he'll be revealing each time how dead his chat actually is.

I think he's also going to be even more paranoid of usernames he doesn't recognize, which means like, 95% of his audience. Imagine if one of the bought sock accounts comments in chat, and then chat "freezes" because everyone is bored out of their mind. He might flip out again and go on another banning spree, depending on how in denial he is about the state of his chat.

When he said youtube "thanked" him his eyes lit up. Dude probably thinks he's gonna get put in the hall of fame at YouTube head quarters for his deeds and accomplishments to the website.

Probably gonna beat off to that DM like he beats off to the old Co op videos with Rambo

In hindsight, I'm glad the chat freeze arc resolved fairly quickly. I wouldn't have been able to stand hearing Phil drone on about it for months, and actively fucking with his livelihood feels too poo-touchy for my liking, Phil doesn't need help killing his career. A couple of weeks of laughs, a few good crashouts, souring his closet cleanup stream, that seems just about right to me.

This. The best outcome for us is, this.
Phil will be doing his victory dance for while, because lets face it he has literally fuck all else going on, but watch for that gay chuckle or the not so confident grin when he explains how he "won" for the 20th time this week, because deep down in the back of that fucking ludicrously shaped head of his, this thought right here, will be digging away.
And, if/when it does happen again or his chat is stupidly slow (or normal pace for him now) watch that panic come to the surface.
He always fucks himself over

This was the same dented tactics as the Comcast guy. We could've been laughing at the tantrums for months. A breath of fresh air between the Strokèmon shit. But the perpetraitor had to go and run his cock cannister and tip Phail off. Fuck you Bucketeer I hate you. Good try though.

This just goes to show how much of a piece of shit Phil is.
He could use his luck powers for the benefit of mankind, instead he uses them to scam money out of tards.

Imagine having a 99 luck build. You could fix world hunger, wars...

Oh absolutely. To clarify, I don't know if it actually is that same exploit, if it is actually patched, and I don't know exactly how it/they work. While I read somewhere that it's "just some unicode character" the Bucket-kid claimed that it is "fairly large scale thing" according to a screenshot earlier in this thread, so who even knows. It is just some kid so whatever is "large scale" might be a VM and a python script or whatever today's version of LOIC would be, and everything inbetween.

I've tried to find info on this a few times (though not with much effort) since last year but so far I haven't got anything concrete. From what I have gathered it is either
* something tricking some part of the chat filter AI (which we all know is a fucking RNG since it is the very definition of worthless and inconsistent)
or,
* considering that it goes away if chat gets enough messages to "push back" the injected message far enough that it would have left the live chat log if it had been readable, some other unknown fuckery between the front- and back-end.

In the case of "the UTTP exploit", every message - including those that were invisible when the exploit was active during the live stream - is available to download with yt-dlp.
So if someone has more time and/or energy than I do at the moment, find a stream where it happened and the chat replay is still available, just pull the chat json with yt-dlp --no-keep-video --write-auto-subs --write-subs --sub-langs "live_chat" youtubeurl and poke around.

While I would like that annoying shit patched finally, I absolutely do not want Phil to feel any positivity in his life whatsoever. Tough call on where I land here, but ideally understanding the actual exploit while it is still implemented and unpatched would probably be the most entertaining outcome for almost everyone.

My experience with Google as a whole is (in this case "unfortunately") that being an annoying cunt gets you much further than being a regular user, so I am of no use and have no fucking clue what all this means in practicality. Hopefully we'll get some clarity during the next DSP stream because I see no world where there is not a single skriptkiddie attempting to make Phil chimp out by freezing his chat again.

Really, chat getting fixed quickly is the best outcome in several ways, the more I think about it. It's the backhanded karmic rebalancing he always gets. Think of it this way: Eddy doesn't get raped to death and made homeless for trying to fleece quarters out of the cul-de-sac for jawbreakers---he's always just fine enough to try again and learn absolutely nothing from the lumps he takes.
  • Phil can't get sympathy donos from chatters because his livelihood is UNDER ATTACK.
  • Retarded weens don't get excessive clout because they were too stupid to be clever/patient, otherwise encouraging copycats to also be retarded in worse ways to the point Phil would just clamp down and be even more boring until the heat dies down.
  • Phil can't charge people just to talk under the guise of his channel being UNDER ATTACK by insane cyberstalkers and detractors!!!1one
  • Phil looks impotent and petty for crying to YouTube like a massive diaper-wearing baby until his chat got fixed, instead of just moving to Kick, Twitter/X, or Twitch (because he'll NEVER go back to Twitch unless there's a new CEO!). Really, considering how much he's on X, it's a little shocking he doesn't use it as a streaming platform while the monetization is still pretty easy.
  • Phil can't get YouTube chatters to move to Kick, so he still loses 30%-50% of his earnings to YouTube (which still accounts for the majority of his income) instead of 5% to Kick (which is rarely more than $10-$25 a stream and has been for months).
  • Phil can't fleece bigger influencers who might, under pignosis, start feeling sorry for him about the detractors driving him to the edge despite handling him with kid gloves.
  • Ultimately, this man turned paranoid schizophrenic and locked down Snort Korea, deleting hundreds of whale/detractor socks indiscriminately over...the threat of having to do 30 pushups after weeks of being made fun of for spending thousands of dollars on Pokemon cards and pooping his pants. All because his chat got slowed down by people posting Unicode strings, making him feel alone.
  • People bitch a lot about how Phil gets handheld in games all the time, and it does suck. But what gets overlooked is just how frequently Phil either: 1) can't accurately follow advice he's given despite understanding it, 2) can't understand the instructions to begin with, 3) misses the advice to everyone's frustration, 4) does not want to follow the advice because it conflicts with the stupid way he's playing the game or whatever guide he's relying on, or 5) he gets straight up bad advice and follows it to the letter.
  • Phil getting a dub by having his chat fixed gives him a power trip. It emboldens him. No one likes smug Phil, but the manic rush of someone paying attention to him always makes him make bad decisions. He can't handle even the smallest displays of authority with any grace or dignity.
  • Phil can't beg for exposure from more successful e-daddies like Lex Jewthor or Asmongold, whom he sees as his peers, for a signal boost, which would briefly vindicate him if anyone were actually willing to give him a chance.
  • Phil exposes his biggest fear yet again: not being noticed, and tells EVERYONE exactly what he can't stand and how to make him suffer through it. He can't stand the thought of being a normal person who must exist in the absence of public scrutiny because he considers himself better than other people. Now he has to rely on other copes to maintain this unwarranted self-importance for a chat feed of 10-15 retarded people while everyone else points and laughs. Everyone else forgets he exists until he gets clipped on Twitter or LSF again.
Phil's existence is, undoubtedly, as stagnant and evil as a normal person can get without having the motivation to harm others violently or sexually. This is part of what I like about Phil, though: he's an avatar of greed, but what he craves more than easy money, at his own expense, is the cheapest, laziest way to get validation and control over how he's perceived in the moment. This keeps the stakes perpetually, comically low, and it's entirely his fault, so he's never a victim of anything more than his own cartoonish stupidity.

He has no capacity for abstract thought, nor does he have a concept of what will the world will be like in the next fifteen seconds, except that it will probably be mostly like the fifteen seconds that preceded it. Even if that sucks, he needs the stability because makes him feel out of control otherwise (nevermind that he mostly defers to chat for the majority of his day-to-day decisions as if they have power of attorney already). He needs to feel like he's got a grip on what's going on while he fumbles through, and will only ever do just enough to preserve his izzat in a way that satisfies his own low threshold for continuing to show his face online.

I just want to see how long this man is willing to live out a very boring, shitty rendition of The Truman Show, all because he's so attached to the success he once had without having to leave his house or put in anything approximating effort.

My personal theory is that the reason nobody does doordash trolling is the same reason why nobody does it against Mersh anymore. If you don't know who Mersh is or who fucked with him, long story short is that he had some pretty dedicated trolls and one of them lived near him and he observed that Mersh simply ate whatever da trollz sent to him. I imagine it's the same with Phail, of course the difference being is that it's Khet who hoovers up any doordashed slop like she's Kirby.
Its not even that complicated, the payoff for trolling him is losing your job and being called a retard in this very thread and any notoriety gained would be serving as the example of what not to be.

At this point it's 100% sure that Phil has someone on the inside protecting him like the Hamburglar.

You are telling me that a glitch that has been on YouTube for months gets fixed immediately when Phil is affected, but the thousands of TOS violations and reports that Phil gets everyday are ignored?

Yeah, right.

There's probably a bored intern protecting him because what better way to make your super boring job entertaining than having your own pet lolcow?

The best case would've been if the retard who discovered it just kept this quiet and told no one what he was doing. Keep breaking his chat quietly and he has no idea it was targeted at him.

Once he found this was targeted he would've eventually moved to kick full time and crawled back to twitch

remember when he bitched to Scopely and they went out of their way to give him a new username that's also longer than what their game normally allows? this is learned behavior lmao

Oh, I'm betting he's still going to drone on about it for months, whether it's actually resolved or not. Hell, I'd bet good money Phil is still talking about it a year or two from now, and I know it's going to come up whenever he's back on Twitch memoryholing all the good things he said about YouTube and using that as one of the prime examples of why they're a garbage service.

You are telling me that a glitch that has been on YouTube for months gets fixed immediately when Phil is affected
That's why I'm wondering if it's actually fixed or not. The message was very generic customer support "we fixed it" without even specifying what the issue was. And we know Phil himself isn't exactly coherent when it comes to explaining things, so it's entirely possible some random dude in India only understood like a quarter of what was being said and just thought Phil was too stupid to ban someone from his chat so they did it for him. It's also entirely possible someone just submitted a ticket and then declared it as solved to maintain a positive social media appearance. The first response he got was a super generic "have you tried turning it off and on again" response, so for all we know, someone went into the channel, tried typing, saw the message went through, shrugged, and assumed it was just Phil having a spotty internet connection or something.

I guess we'll see on the next stream. I won't be shocked if it's fixed, but I also wouldn't be surprised if the issue persists because Phil provided them with poor information

Horse-shoe theory, the dentractors would be DSP-fans if DSP got to them first lmao. Such an embarrassing outcome for the exploiter.
