She wants to date, but to meet someone in a "meet cute."

Hilarious. Truly hilarious. NYC is already one of the worst cities for dating across every demographic, even the trust fund woke autist liberals have a hierarchy of appearance standards, socially acceptable behaviors, and activism expectations. But I like how she frames it as a matter of agency / availability and totally disregards the fact that statistically, in a city of millions, you are highly likely to meet another gay retard masker who shares the same values. They're just not going to settle for the human iteration of a pustule, because they don't have to.

Moving to New York should always be on a whim.

Vicky really does not disappoint when it comes to looking like an out of touch asshole. Moving somewhere incredibly expensive with no home or job lined up is not a matter of whimsy, it's an extremely privileged take that advertises (quite glaringly) how spoilt she truly is. She should stop by a homeless shelter and ask some of the younger residents / immigrants how moving here on a whim has worked out for them so far.

Vicky might have realised no one is going to do her music for free. And the totally normal situaiton where you need to rebuild your strength to play if you've taken time out is actually evidence of her being sooper sick and this is rehab. She wants lessons but I get the impression she is more after PT type stuff, but from a guitar teacher. I don't think that's how that works.

She wants to date, but to meet someone in a "meet cute." Do these even exist outside of films? And masking is mandatory. Because obviously getting intimate with someone is not going to be really fucking weird if you're both wearing masks.

Moving to New York should always be on a whim. Isn't applying to a uni and then moving to the city its in pretty much the opposite of a whim?

Ver archivo adjunto 9221299

Life if being ridiculously good to her, most people as useless as her would not be able to live in one of the most expensive cities in the world for years.
Ver archivo adjunto 9221320

Of course she would. Except that a a power chair user how would she climb the empire state building?
Ver archivo adjunto 9221326

This is her most unintentionally revealing word vomit in a while.

"Hey fellow young New York bohemian drifters who is FEELING ME"

Nobody is Vicky, even if you want to move to New York and become a bit of a wheel going into middle age you're supposed to have friends or at least the charisma to make some

Quote replying to the same status twice inside a week TOTALLY reads like a Bad Bitch Who Doesn't Care and not a desperate lonely fatass trying to double dip her most active post in years for more asspats...

If you ask me her race at NYC is run and she's back at one of her parent's house and tryna milk as many twitter asspats for her wanted years in NYC to avoid the fact she could have spent those years in a coma and still have been better off when she came out the other side of them

Can't wait for her new spergout about how failing out of a bachelor degree over ten years and moving into one of your divorced parent's box rooms is actually "holding space for disability and culture jamming cisableist institutions", for even less likes

[...] so frustrated by how much weaker my left hand is by the permanent effects of my hemiparesis [...]
Obviously she's just saying that for attention but I want to contextualise it further. She is right in essentially saying that the strongest hand should always be the fretting hand (the one pressing down on the strings to e.g., create chords, in this case she claims her left hand is weak, so having a left-handed guitar would allow her right hand to be the fretting hand). At the same time it's pretty easy to fatigue your fret hand for various reasons. There's a lot of stamina that goes into playing an instrument and guitars are no exception. Beginners are especially prone to their fret hand cramping or experiencing fatigue. They might be gripping too hard to compensate bad finger placement or have poor wrist position. Sometimes components of instrument itself might be troublesome and force the player to work harder. So, is it the effects of hemiparesis or is it just the average experience of getting back into playing? Hmm...

In any case "weak left side of body" has been a Vicky favourite since 2021 because she actually scored some rehab at the hospital for it, so I guess having exhausted her options pursuing Myasthenia Gravis and IgG4-RD, she's finally returning to her roots. Here's a post from 2024 commemorating her "brain injury".

I'd even tentatively propose that this arc might be the event that got Vicky addicted to attention from medical professionals. She was so sad when she got discharged.

The playing guitar for the first time in years thing is a big clue.

She didn't have a guitar when she moved there from Florida. The guitar was back at her folks' house. It's either a guitar belonging to one of her siblings or her old one, and she's back in the family homestead. All the New York City Is So Fucking Awesome and Totally Random! stuff is her trying to convince herself she still really lives in the city and this home thing is a temporary state of affairs.

Did you know she avoids medical care now?

Buying bougie drinks. Parental money is definitely back on the menu.

Vicki will always hate Adult Protective Services because they don't recognize her need to have servants waiting on her in her own private, individual apartment where she takes Doordash deliveries all day.

1783039814133.png

Vicki keeps talking to teenagers to tell them someday they can be like her.

Meet cutes are the female equivalent of pulling and while even mid grade women can do it, it requires being in a place where you can meet people who don’t already know you!

Victoria is not going to meet cute with people because she doesn’t really go out into the world to create that opportunity

Putting on my top hat for that first tweet of the teenager talking about kyphosis and how uncomfortable she felt about her body after getting (I’m assuming) a fusion to fix the curvature.

That teenager felt like a freak before, and she probably feels even more like a freak after because now she has a completely different torso than the one she’s had for years thanks to copious amounts of hardware (which is incredibly confusing and hard to accept for some).
Like is she still deformed even though it’s been fixed?
Is she able to accept her new body that gives her a better quality of life even though it involves mobility limitations considering she’s the bionic woman now?

Vicky’s solution to a teenage with a deformity that’s coming to terms with having major spinal surgery is CUT OFF YOUR TITS.

Fuck you Vicky.
That girl has enough legitimate body image issues without removing perfectly healthy and normal parts of her body.

The creep factor in Vicky talking to, grooming all those teenagers. She's a grown ass bitch who has no business talking to teens.
You may be no further on than your first year of uni bitzich but you actually aren't 18 years old

I wish they could actually see what she looks like now, who-ney, what-is giving them this advice. Update the profile piccy Vicky! What, are you ashamed or something?

They need to institute a mandatory fact check on all of Vicky’s “hey teens, it gets better” posts that include a recent photo and a random sampling of a humiliation she’s tweeted about self (e.g. getting a dildo stuck in herself while she’s in hospital, bed Mayo, power chair tilt a whirl during class)

Whoah. Check it out, it's Strategy 3 in action!
(3) She stops pursuing the diagnosis in favour of a more systemic explanation or rarer diagnosis

I honestly didn't expect that she'd outright admit that it wasn't MG after all, but predictably she has taken her doctor shrugging and offering her possible (basically "certain" in Vicky's mind) alternative explanations and running off with them. As a reminder, this is, bar for bar, the exact same bullshit she did when she was denied a diagnosis for CCI:

1000046720.jpg

Again with the neuropsychologist. It's worth noting that it's not the same one who told her they could "see CCI" in her imaging and suggested she might have MCAS and whatever else, because that one was a woman, and Vicky says "he" here. In any case, it makes so much sense that the only clinicians going "it's possible..." isn't even the ones who have the authority to make the diagnoses.

I always love going down the memory lane whenever Vicky comes up a groundbreaking revelation about her "ailments", so here's my favourite tweets mentioning Myasthenia Gravis in the one year Vicky pursued it.

The doctors don't recognize my Myasthenia Gravis!

1000046731.jpg

They didn't even examine me for it even though I have it! Chart bias!

1000046733.jpg

This physician is fucking biased and is abusing his power to prevent the doctors from spending their resources to diagnose me with Myasthenia Gravis! He told me it's all anxiety! I'm literally going to die! Why is no-one challenging him!

1000046735.jpg

They're literally trying to kill me by giving me medication that contradicts a condition I definitely have!

1000046737.jpg

I'm literally dying from untreated Myasthenia Gravis, which I definitely have, you don't get to say a word about doctors hating their patients because mine absolutely does! TORTUUUU--

1000046739.jpg

--uure...?

1000046747.jpg

Okay but like I definitely have it... right...

1000046741.jpg

Like I definitely have it forrealsies... of course... Just looking at all these doctors disagreeing with me is triggering me...

1000046745.jpg

Victoria finally admits she doesn't have MG. Good for any timeline.

I am never ever leaving this website.

Vicky really does not disappoint when it comes to looking like an out of touch asshole. Moving somewhere incredibly expensive with no home or job lined up is not a matter of whimsy, it's an extremely privileged take that advertises (quite glaringly) how spoilt she truly is.
Something that really pisses me off about her despite living in NYC without working for it in the first place is that she hasn't even taken advantage of it.

16 year old me, who was a total fucking retard, may have daydreamed of moving there on a whim. Because it is one of the worldwide centres of music I loved then and still do nearly 25 years later. There are shows most nights, amazing record stores (semper fi daddy Glio, who knew he was being laughed at in his suit til he started reading my shopping lists and they'd want to know where foreign teenage girls were finding these bands, the internet fuckers). Its a paradise for people who are nerdy in one of the ways I am.

But Vicky did it for nothing. If she'd actually bothered with her degree that would count, but she didn't, so it doesn't. Not only does it show her privilege for being able to do that shit on mummy and daddy's dime. It shows a bleak emptiness.

I'm sure most of us could pinpoint a couple of locations we'd move to given infinite resources for its overlap with our own tastes in arts and culture. And have all the experiences on offer, cos who the fuck doesn't when its right there. She didn't. Have we ever heard of a single gig, exhibition, history tour (I never got to the tenement museum, don't even know if its still there, but if it is its on my list if I ever make it back across the Atlantic), whatever, that she's been to? I don't recall. She's squandered her time in NYC- not just from the perspective of it being the time in your life you get freedom, but also make yourself, but from specifically her being NYC for it.

I’m sure it’s been discussed here before, but I was curious if hemiplegic migraines can cause long term damage or not. According to this article on pubmed, “By definition, the neurologic impairments of hemiplegic migraine are reversible. However, a few cases of permanent neurologic deficits associated with hemiplegic migraine have been reported.” It seems like serious long-term effects are usually associated with familial (genetic) hemiplegic migraines.

Did she have hemiplegic migraines before this one? Did she have any migraine history? If this one bad HM was the first and only, I would wonder if she does have real lingering symptoms from FND? And to be fair, it’s more likely to be completely made up. But I’m a little suspicious just because she doesn’t usually claim anything for a long period of time. Why hasn’t she moved on and retconned this weakness as CCI or autoimmune encephalitis or [insert disease here]?

Vicky NEVER talks about going to any of the museums (tenement museum is still there) or exhibitions, she never visits other boroughs unless its to visit one of NYU 8000 medical campuses, she never goes to music shows/festivals, performances, galleries, etc. Never visits one of the dozens of unique bakeries, no noodles in Flushing, never goes shopping at any record store or book store or any interesting local store, has likely never been to either botanical garden or the bronx zoo, has never gone to any speed dating event or social club dinner or a single dive bar. No late nights in Chinatown, no Feast of San Gennaro and not one single parade. No friends, no parties, no memorable nights getting into trouble (broken down power chairs don't count). Plus, all that aside, this is one of the most photogenic cities in the world and she has only shown pics of herself inside medical facilities. Not one single slice of life pic.

There is so much romance and life and adventure in NYC, but she just sits indoors and complains online and conjures elaborate medical fantasies about her deconditioned body...it's a truly sad waste of an opportunity that many would take if they could afford it. I'd wager she knows less about this city than some of the tourists who come here.

He told me it's all anxiety!
I never really get the feeling she’s anxious, even when she’s tweeting realtime DYING RN FR FR shit from the hospital. It’s more like she’s just exceptionally fucking stubborn - ”Here I am, perfectly imitating all these symptoms that I’ve googled but I STILL don’t get the diagnosis I want? The nerve! Better hold my breath and flex my neck muscles some more, that’ll show ’em that I’m right!”

SJW & Tumblr lingo and therapy speak are the perfect tools for a narc who can’t handle being wrong, btw, and Vicky is an expert in wielding that shit whenever she’s being challenged. She’s DARVO on powerchair wheels. Whenever I see one of her tweets from when she was living at home I marvel at how expertly she’s obfuscating being a retarded, entitled brat with language that paints her as a victim without agency in the hands of abusive caretakers. And everybody fucking claps, like brain-washed seals in an online zoo.

Case in point:

IMG_0205.jpeg
Seven people (out of 81 lol) liked this tweet, even though it’s so stupid none of them likely actually believed it. But ”PTSD mentioned, must like” Manchurian candidate Tumblr reflex immediately activated.

Amazing.

I think the whole reason for the wheelchair schtick etc. is that Vicki felt anxious about how much there is to do and see in NYC, especially since she couldn't make friends and wasn't getting invited anywhere. I think she finds it very intimidating and feels like she doesn't belong, so she made herself "sick enough" that she now has excuses. Of course I love New York and all it has to offer, but curse this illness that makes it impossible to do all the things I would totally absolutely do if I were only healthy!

More of "Vicki tries to be 'quirky' and 'autistic' and 'youthful' in a way that makes her sound painfully millennial."

1783165335808.png

Why is that, from a psychological perspective? I’m open to many explanations.

Opposite-sex parent basically thinks "well, I don't have any experience being a teenage girl, so maybe the thing my child is asking for is what they need."

Same-sex parent says "I was a teenage girl once and that's bullshit, she just needs to do x and y."
