Their failure to arm their entire fucking staff following that break-in, followed by regular firearms training and practice, is a fucking travesty, especially as a Texan company. "No, you little British faggot, you will be armed while in this office and you will act to protect your life, the lives of your colleagues and the safety and security of this business and its property while you're here" should have been the first words Gavin heard after his first inevitable objection to the "why aren't you armed, you fucking moron?" question he undoubtedly heard a dozen times the day after that break-in happened at his home.
When Dan (Donut) got hired at the old call center, he apparently just showed up and said he was supposed to be there, and because it was such a big company no one realized it until he told them. I wonder if it's a similar thing here where the dude showed up, Kara brought him to the AH room, and then he hung out until Geoff came out of a meeting or finally showed up to the office with a hangover, and that was when they all learned they'd been tricked.
They're pussies. But in Gavin's case, he genuinely doesn't seem to understand that bad things can happen to him. Dude has possibly had a stroke, had his ball get twisted, and went blind for several days, and yet goes around life like nothing there's nothing to worry about. He got stuff stolen from the shed of his house years before the stalker incident and still didn't do anything about security.
