Rowling Derangement Syndrome - "TERF/Woke Author Bad!!1"

Nostalgia Critic reviewed Sorcerer’s/Philosopher’s stone and of course there was a jab at Rowling.

I watched the review and to be be perfectly fair, Doug did kinda do some fence sitting jokes in this. Yeah, he did make a jab at her trans views, but he did also
make fun of the retconning of gay Dumbledore. In fact, if you go to the part with the troll in the girl's bathroom, he did a "I AM A GIRL!" troll joke which was pretty base imo.

Diana was basically Megan 1.0

It was because of how she died that she was retroactively canonized in the public.

Moore was, to nutshell it, a complete boomer who felt that what he grew up with was totally the best stuff and was not a fan of what modern British adventure fiction, especially boys' fiction, had become. His Potter parody was basically a mean-spirited diss at it. It's worth noting he also had issues with James Bond per an earlier unflattering incorporation of the character into the last couple volumes, Moore clearly preferred the masculine-yet-gentlemanly adventurers of the imperial era like Quatermain and Bulldog Drummond.
Harry Potter as antichrist has some thematic backing. Like it's not a bad idea to start. The whole story of Harry Potter is about an occult jesus, who dies and ressurects to save everyone fits on a number of levels. He was marked after birth by the dark lord.

But looking at a few pages, it seems mostly just killing people with guns and such. What a waste

Última edición:
I thought the Potter ending in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Century was random and smacked a bit of professional jealousy, but Moore is a very odd writer. It's a great series otherwise.

There is a Potter spoof briefly in another one of his series, "Smax" which is much funnier. I can't provide a scan right now, maybe in a few weeks if I remember.

Thread tax: more seething about Rowling meeting Camilla, this one from Reddit:

I love how he's embedded a clip of some drunken retarded tranny mumbling about it as proof of what a bad decision this was.

I gotta say that “protect the dolls” is not a catchphrase that helps their cause at all. Really ups the creepiness factor
It's become a recent talking point how "White women steal all their slang from the gays" and then the trannies say "Erm ackshually sweatie, the gays actually steal it from us" and then the niggers complain about how "All these fags and crakkas keep stealin our niglish and shiet". Personally, while I'd prefer if we didn't all speak in niggerbabble, complaining about it is a lost cause at this point, because language spreads fast between every group now. That being said though, this "dolls" shit is such a brazenly performative instance of claiming niglish as their own that it turns my stomach, and I want more niggers complaining about it so I stop having to see that shit online.

The amount of hate this woman gets just because she thinks men do not belong in women's bathrooms (and spaces) continue to astound me. She has morphed into the figurative devil of the troon left religion.
The CRAZIEST bit though is I've got a friend who's all "I'm Far left and not one of THOSE lefties" (no comment there) and we discuss JK occassionally, she'll (not trans, but trans ally to the hilt) do the whole "Muh Terf" thing and I have constantly managed to quieten it down with literal logic.

"Why should a woman who is in a place she should 100% feel comfortable with give up that comfort for the sake of someone entering that room who still has male genitalia?" - "Well I have no problem with it..." - "Ok, But it's not about what YOU'RE comfortable with, it's about what is equitable for everyone, what isn't equitable is forcing someone to accept something they're not comfortable with to live with it due to social pressure." - "But they're wo-" - "What about women's shelters? You said it was bad they can ban trans-women, that's a sanctuary for women to feel safe, most of whom are raped and abused by men who will panic and become agitated/anxious at the sight of an unknown "man" in their space, if even a single woman in that kind of environment feels unsafe because of someone that someone should be ejected no?" -"Well... I guess..."

That's the thing, these fucking troon-allies and troon niggers make out JK Rowling wants some genocide-level extermination of Trans culture. She's so fucking basic-bitch in what she wants, she just doesn't want female spaces invaded by pre-op men, but that's been framed over the course of 10 years to be worthy of vilification and revulsion, when I can honestly say, A LOT of women feel this way in England and just feel scared to say anything about it out of the social pressure and fear.

She's become somewhat more actively hostile to troons and troonery in general, and now realizes that trans "women" really are just actually men. She used to go along with the bullshit about them being a sort of woman.

Why are they co-opting Diana like she’d be a fag hag champion? She was rich, beautiful, and charming- she’d spit on homos and hairy men in drag for fun.
Now to be fair, Diana made a big effort to get involved in humanitarian stuff, supporting the unfortunate, campaigning for disease research, shaking hands with AIDS patients when people thought that skin contact could pass it on, she was just generally really nice. I don't necessarily think that she'd outright support the gays or trannies, her interests were in more in directly pressing matters, and with someone like her, there's a general sense of "well she seemed like she agreed with a bunch of things I think are good, so she'd agree with me", but I do think that she was socially conscious enough that if she was still alive she'd likely make an effort to be nice to every group she could. She seemed to have a strong desire to help people in whatever ways she could, (which pissed off the royal family because it was stepping outside of the bounds of tradition), and whether she'd consider "helping" in this case to be supporting them, or pushing back, I think it's a topic too alien to the time she was alive, and too entrenched in opinions now for us to speculate on.
