She sure as fuck isn't doing any other housewife shit like cleaning, doing the shopping, cooking meals, etc.
What's fucked about that is that she
does do these things; and we know because Pat will occasionally make a show of pausing his streams to go "help" bring shopping bags in, keep an animal out of a mess Paige made and is trying to clean up, serve himself a bowl of chili Paige made, etc. What's cow-ish about it all is how conspicuously these mundane tasks are presented to the camera, for (what I infer to be) the cynical reason of making themselves seem more relatable to the Twitch whales funding their
actual lifestyle in which their typical day includes doing none of these things for themselves. Spending money seems to be the only area in which these two aren't terminally lazy; because they're always begging for more in between bragging that they "shopped around" and "did their research" to procure or retain the "best" something or another. I'm sure their dog died at the most expensive pet boarder Google could recommend.
I lump the "chores" mentioned on-stream under the same "lies told by a stupid person" umbrella as Pat letting us know he
totally spent time with his son when they
totally went out to do charity work before the stream. Pat was too short and spastic to be trusted with more than bagging groceries at the only job he ever held down - What can he do for charity but charge a dollar for people to punch him in that giant fontanelle? And what the fuck did the toddler do while Pat was preoccupied with "charity work"? Spend time being ignored by his dad somewhere else?
Most people have worked jobs where they observed a coworker who routinely put far more effort into avoiding doing their job than fulfilling their meager obligations would have required. By Pat's own admission, he was one of these employees (e.g., calling in sick and
still commuting to work so his parents wouldn't know how often he called out), and that pathological avoidance of fulfilling obligations remains one of very few values he seems to genuinely hold. And his
Anisa wife won't challenge this; because she's even lazier than he is. And even though they've been remarkably successful at rotting on couches where everyone can see them, the Boivins still retain enough self-awareness and cynicism to fuel discussion about
what they actually do through being lazy about pretending to not be as lazy as they are - Presumably out of the fear that, if they act
too lazy or indifferent on stream, the audience is liable to feel that the Boivins already have "enough" money.
