It’s gotta extend to clamp down on Chinese birth tourism too. IVF and surrogacy are bad enough as it is, but there is not enough being done about the the fact that there’s been a cottage industry built around Chinese billionaires paying western women to be inseminated and carrying their children to ensure they’re born in the US as part of some long-term corporate strategy to expand into American markets via inherited wealth and assets.

Amusingly, many of these women happen to be of the tribe. The Judeo-Hapa meme is real.

Edit: I realize I sound like peak Alex Jones but this shit’s been going in for decades and only began to be contested as late as 2019.
If only there was a way to forcefully remove anyone that present certain foreign features from positions of power and the country in general, sadly both options are anti Democratic and anti Christian so i guess is best to just bend over to the jewish chinese hapa masters!

Yah it's really bad. There's several Chinese CEOs who have over 100 kids born through surrogacy who also have American citizenship thanks to BRC. The Chinese are basically trying to brute force a home grown, American, domestic voting block.
Fortunately for the rest of us, such an effort is so cost-intensive that only the 1% of the 1% of the Chinese corporate elite are capable of paying for it. It won’t make a dent on an electoral map the same way importing infinity Haitians into a small midwestern city would; the greater concern is that the children of the emperor’s concubines can infiltrate American institutions with less red tape than say, a foreign student or an H1B employee, and will leverage their citizenship to dictate policy.

They really really don't want to release it. Is that good or bad?
Either way, they know there's going to massive seething. Possible riots and violent action by either side.

By delaying til the last possible second, they minimize this. Many people are going on a 3-4 day weekend if not on vacation all week. Lots of news coverage of the 250th and July 4th. Releasing it Tuesday gives only a day or two of bouncing and squeaking by the losing side before we hit the long weekend and the news cycle moves on. So they hope.

One thing I wonder: Is there any third option for the SC to kick the can down the road? Maybe punt to a lower court, do anything to keep things at status quo til Congress changes the law? Or is it a pure Constitutional question at this point where they must decide once and for all if the 14 Amendment is for slaves only and if Congress wants Magic Dirt they need a new law or Amendment?

I think one thing that precludes a ruling in Trump's favor is the Amendment writer's intent. They could have simply passed laws in 1868 giving former slaves citizenship, codifying representation, and tidying up Civil War debts and denying former CSA officers and officials the right to hold office (which was never enforced at all).

But they made an Amendment to the Constitution, which is a Big Deal. If the SC strikes down Birthright Citizenship, it basically renders an entire Amendment superfluous. So it could be argued that the writers of them Amendment really wanted to codify Magic Dirt.

He's right. Fatpacks vindication arc incoming.
If everything fatpacks said was right he'd still be completely wrong about it.

"*cries*, everything is doomed, let's lie down and be a snivelling wretch" is no way for anyone to live. Fatpacks shouldn't live like Fatpacks.

Even people in North Korea has sex. Fatpacks does not.

Actual rape victims have more dignity to them than Fatpacks do. It's just sad and sad.

Yah that's also my concern. As natural born US citizens who also most likely speak Mandarin and look chinky they'll easily be able to get positions within the intelligence community. From the CIAs recruitment website:

It extends past just bonus pay. I've been told that it accelerates the hiring process and can fast track you into higher positions. I understand the importance of having multilingual intelligence assets, but dual citizens should be barred from holding these positions.

You know we need 60 votes for save act, right?

There is only one Susan Collins.
Yeah and you can't get 60 when you have people like Collins who don't vote on "KEY VOTES"
Plenty of key votes where she voted the party line. A Democrat would be an improvement because...?
shes happy to be a consistent republican when her vote doesnt matter.
the second it does, shes a holdout.
