I don't know I think he did more good than bad.
  • The Redistricting,
  • Fighting Disney head on with the Parental rights bill (don't say gay bill),
  • Taking away Disney's insane tax exempt status.
  • Making Florida the Go To state for fleeing billionaires and millionaires, bringing tons of money to the state,
  • Essientially taking Jeb Bush's Purple Florida (destined to be blue) to deep red permanently.
  • Made Florida love ICE and Deportations. With things like:
    • Alligator Alcatraz
    • Sending Illegals to Martha's Vineyard,
    • etc...
  • Prohibited State funds going to ESG and DEI companies and services.
  • Lowest unemployment rate among the top ten largest states.

I get being mad at him because of his stance on Israel and him pushing through pro-Israel legislation and laws. But overall he did do more good than bad. (And frankly those laws are designed to get rid of 3rd worlders without saying it does.)
I mean when he went to larp as a presidential candidate and Ft Lauderdale flooded
I dont expect Ron! was gonna be dipping a bucket outside Tates and making things right but clearly his crew being gone made a big difference

A Tale of Two Americas

America 1 is the original America. Flag is the Stars and Stripes. 🇺🇸

America 2 seems to have roots in any communist infiltration in the 1950s and the "counterculture" of the 1960s ("hippies"). It incubated with that "political correctness" of later in the 20th century, and fully awoke or hatched with TDS and Orange Man Bad in 2016. Flag is the eyesore of a "Progress Flag" with double "transgender" representation.
ironically a lot of what made me conservative was growing up with legends of how the greatest ideal is fighting against The Man
I guess they just hoped nobody would notice who The Man was

I don't know I think he did more good than bad. His big mistake in 2024 was thinking that it was "his turn" and that listening and believing big donor talking points and a return to pre-trump was going to get people excited.

Yeah, I'm not a Floridian, but he seems like he's been a really effective Gov to me.
To me I put DeSantis in the same bucket as someone like Rubio.
He's not the greatest speaker and he's a little bit autistic, but that's good, because he's actually really effective at the minutiae of governing.
Idk why people hate on DeSantis.

All I'm saying is Trump didn't have to go for the jugular like that. It was in-character for him, but not altogether necessary.
Disagree. McCain was actively trying to ruin the campaign he was making for the seat of highest power in the entire world. There's no reason for anyone not to be going to the jugular with truthful things. McCain wasn't a hero for getting shot down and tortured. That's just what happens when you're in war sometimes.

On the other side of the earth, there exists a country similar to our own... except this is a country of paradoxes and backwards logic. This is a country of complete opposites. This is a country known as...

America... 2...

In America 2, Kamala Harris is sober.

AMERICA... TOOOOOO...

In America 2, MLK was an Uncle Ruckus who helped pass legislation to exterminate communists.

AMERICA... TOOOoooOOOOOo....

Starting off your campaign to make America great again by tearing asunder that failson who is a walking symbol of the degradation of America's aristocracy to beyond uselessness seems like a move you wouldn't need a degree in marketing or psychology to think of.

it's not so much that he was _bad_ it's that he was pretty great but then he totally dropped the ball shitting himself pretending to be a candidate for president
picture if Tom Brady was doing Tom Brady things, then one day he just decided to ignore that he had the ball, wandered off the the side, dropped a squat and crapped in the middle of the field
that was Ron!'s attempt at the white house
every time from now on it's not "oh good he has the ball" it's "oh no will he shit"

Fair enough. I am not a McCain fan, so I won't go out of my way to defend the guy.

Yeah his campaign was massively retarded for many reasons.
Still though, on the balance, he's been a good governor and Florida has been lucky to have him.

Anyways,

I should've called the 2nd America "Liquid America" (imposter) there. But yeah, while they wanna think they're a new America, SJWs are just trying to overthrow the real one.

Meanwhile SJWs or anywhere they run (Portland, etc) is almost like a different country. One that's trying to infiltrate and take over.
It's called Girl America and it's dumb as FUCK!!

Trannies are calling a homosexual Jewish socialist that sponsored a bill to make child rape a misdemeanor a Nazi. These lefty purity spirals are fucking wild man.
It really surprised me he didn't catch more shit for that bill because it did more than that. Specifically what it did was it allowed judges to be discretionary during sentencing for people found guilty of statutory rape of minors (I think the cut off was 13/14) as long as the age gap wasn't more than ten years. So if a 25 YO had sex with a 15 YO the judge could rule with discretion and give the adult a sentence of absolutely nothing and choose to omit them from the SOR.

He basically decriminalized sex with minors by allowing judges to just not punish offenders based on feelings and circumstance and eliminated the minimum sentence. Also
>Circumstances
>Where statutory rape doesn't require punishment
>And it involves a minor
>This happens enough to change the laws around it
>Hmmmmmmm

I don't need to check his hard drive, I know.

Ron DeSantis will go down as one of the best Florida governors in history. Which is why I feel the possible governors for Florida this upcoming election season seem to be lackluster.

If 2025 me told 2023 me what was going on in the realm of politics, I'd call myself a liar
If 2026 me told 2025 me told me what was going on in the realm of politics, I'd call myself a liar
If 2026 me told 2015 me told me what was going on in the realm of politics, I'd ask "It really took 10 years to do that?"

Regardless, very excited to keep seeing things develop.

Look I can hear arguments about having sex with 15 years old as a 18 years old shouldn't be criminalized but then I see how European countries give like 10 years for rape and say no. We should be harsher on crime.
