So Anthem is now saying that TNA isn't for sale and that the $40 million price tag is a fabrication.
My theory is that the price tag leaked (which it did) and Anthem now has to backtrack because everyone laughed them out of the room and probably have to come back with a price that's even less.
Joe Doering from TNA passed away from brain cancer today. His run in AJPW is worth checking out and sadly generally overlooked, specifically his Triple Crown run and his tag run with Suwama. TNA already put up a best of on their youtube.

Maya World suddenly deciding to have really good matches in the Owen Hart tournament came completely out of left-field and Mercedes is an ideal opponent for pretty much any talent that the fans are starting to get behind.
I think, fuck it, let Maya win at the PPV. Mercedes is already established so eating the pin won't hurt her. Maya was just sort of knocking around Collision and RoH for a while but she's been great for the past few weeks so give her a shot on the main show. The women's division in AEW seems to produce talent a bit more organically because they only get one or two matches a show. For a "progressive" audience they don't seem to give a shit about women's wrestling so TK should be pushing any girl that gets a reaction from them to the moon.
Not sure if this was mentioned before, but Danhausen, The Miz and Kit Wilson met a bunch of Make-a-Wish fans. Miz especially is sporting his electrocuted hairline. Love it, it's charming of him to stick to the script like that. Just a bunch of goofballs.
I think I'm seeing a trans flag color palette on Kit's shirt, though then again the same colors adorn the rest of his outfit.
