I remember checking in on ChibiReviews reaction videos from time to time over a decade ago, such as when Aldnoah season 1's finale released. Very saddening to read through this thread and see how his life has/is turning out. Hopefully he makes a turnaround before it is too late.

It baffles me that he tried to move to Japan. Anyone that deep into the anime fandom reading interviews, reading the news about what was happening industry wise and societally in Japan, reading ANN's answerman articles, following Canipa Effect, etc. Would have known about the economic downturn in the 90s, rigorous work culture, how the country is ethnically homogenous and is not receptive towards foreigners like in the US, how normal Japanese people despises "otakus" and would also despise stereotypical American weeaboo neckbeards flying over, etc.

That's my current project, except it's in video format and has broader scope beyond just EPI. Less focused, but covering more topics I guess. Groups like NAMBLA, the anti age of consent activism, and the MAP movement are also things I'm including. All pedos use mostly the same tactics so I think it's worth it for me to group them all up, establish commonalities, then section them out from the whole to handle the specifics of each group. Not going to say much more because after I know plenty of lolicons obsessively read this thread and the Lolicon/Shotacon Defenders thread. Regardless, good luck with the writeup. I'm glad to see other people are willing to look into the issue of EPI.
