I don’t get why people are talking the way they are about the antifa convictions. This isn’t setting some precedent to criminalize antifa membership or reify it against the claim that it’s “just an idea”. They fucking used guns in an ambush on law enforcement. If they can’t secure that conviction then being antifa clearly protects you from consequence, but this does nothing to convince me that consequences are being applied to mere membership or smaller scale disruption.
Also “combined sentences” is a meaningless metric for dents who clap at big numbers.

The shitshow in Minnesota and the RICO case up there shows you how sloppy they are with OPSEC. It was a low level insurgency that was going on for nearly 2 months. They were setting up checkpoints around Minneapolis to ID check random people and if they were suspected ICE agents they got the shit beat out of them or crashed into along the highway by these psycho communists.
They literally did roaming patrols around the city and had patrol zones for different groups on patrol to prevent a vacuum for ICE to operate without a group of faggots attacking and impeding them.
The biggest problem would be securing convictions because Antifa mostly operates in leftist shitholes where the local governments are friendly with them. The willing to be violent right isn't organized enough to set up a logistics or communications network especially one that wouldn't instantly get figured out by the feds through subpoenaing U-haul or Xitter. They don't have sympathetic elites and local governments protecting them from prosecution, they don't have the financial networks to actually do anything besides larp at shooting competitions and getting arrested for fedposting.
