George Washington served two terms.
Had to be basically dragooned into it.
Was widely recognized by biographers and in his own day as being an upstanding person.
This was why he was so popular that the Newburgh conspirators offered him a monarchy.
It's also why he rejected it.
Insisted on going back home at the end of it all.
Created (militarily) the nation.
This is considerably less impressive and worthy of a third term than... uh... honestly I don't know what the fuck Trump's big 1st term achievement is supposed to be.
Yeah, criticizing the color of his suit or what he ate for lunch is TDS. Pointing out that the Iran war is an absolute disaster or that tariffs are retarded and just screw over consumers is not TDS.
And the TDS fueled the TES.
I question a lot lately how much I just missed versus how much is Trump changing, how much I was wrong on all along, but the Left really, really made it hard to not root for Trump when there was peepeepoopoo tape frauds, two scoop controversies, hitlerhitlerhitler (thats the Left wing version of niggerniggernigger) on the TV all the time.
I think of it as a broken clock situation, except, I think they actually were onto something - they sensed what a foul piece of work Trump was - but still couldn't convey this in any way other than the same sort of slander they do to every conservative politician.
