I am NOT equating breaking into an official government building violently with making fun of a pool.
I am saying making fun of a pool is literally harmless, and the other arguably good enough to get you hanged for treason.
One of the things I find fascinating about you liberals is your total inability to discuss any subject without being completely disingenuous. In this case, you're pretending to be unable to understand why anyone would think it is strange and absurd to protest cleaning up a national monument, to the point of some psycho actively trying to interfere with the cleaning operation. You can't possibly think that engaging in Jan 6 whataboutism is some kind of meaningful argument. But I'm not sure you even know how what meaningful argument even is. I don't think you're actually too stupid to understand hypotheticals, comparative statements, etc. It's more like something is broken.

It's like your inner persona is a combination of Stephen Colbert and John Stewart constantly mugging at the camera, and your entire political movement has gotten so addicted to behaving this way that the part of your brain that authentically holds opinions is completely rotted away. There's nothing substantive at the bottom, no authentic opinion, just glibness upon smugness upon irony upon dishonesty.

Make sure to either wait an hour before going in, or just get real drunk and say “hey son, watch this!” and do a cannonball.
Update: Lots of gluten free beer because I'm a genetic dead end, endless amounts of ribeye till I had to move a notch on the belt. Did a cannonball and flips and showed him how to do handstands and walk around the pool upside down. He threw up, I didn't. 1966 rebuilt dive watch survives the pool, but the Cadillac still has a weird phantom drain even after pulling non-essentials that could even possibly drain power. All in all, a damned good Father's Day. Hope you Kiwi's had the same.

would think it is strange and absurd to protest cleaning up a national monument
The guy is carrying a sign that says Algae Rights Matter, I would think he's doing a bit of trolling. It's funny. I would hope people that were *probably* on /pol/ in 2016 would know something about a little bit of trolling. Also calling me a liberal again and again and referencing other liberals doesn't make your shit take right. You are assblasted because someone is literally trolling about a POOL. If this was during Obama we would all laugh at this shit. Stop letting team sports blind you.

From The Hill: "Strait of Hormuz oil flow ‘back towards normal’: Energy secretary" (archive)
Energy Secretary Chris Wright said Sunday that the flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz is returning “back towards normal,” a day after Iranian officials signaled they would be closing the vital waterway due to Israeli strikes in Lebanon.

The Trump administration official said 67 ships went through the strait on Saturday, a slight increase from 55 on Friday as the U.S. military escorts vessels through a southern route in the channel.

“I think it’s that returning flows back towards normal without any cooperation at all from Iran, that’s the leverage President Trump used to get the Iranians to come to the table and realize they’re going to lose all the cards in their hand,” Wright said in an interview on ABC’s “This Week” with Jonathan Karl. “Maybe they can make a deal that brings some benefit to Iran. Maybe they can’t.”

A day earlier, Vice President Vance told Fox News there was no evidence that Iran had blocked off the Strait of Hormuz, touting what he described as a record-breaking amount of oil moving through the critical shipping corridor over the previous 24 hours.

Vance is in Switzerland on Sunday for talks with Iranian officials — mediated by Pakistan and Qatar — over Iran’s nuclear program, days after the signed U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding started a 60-day clock for the countries to reach a final agreement.

The latest news comes as gas prices remain elevated in the U.S. compared to levels from before the U.S.-Israeli conflict with Iran was sparked in late February. The national average of regular gasoline stood at about $3.93 per gallon as of Sunday morning, which is lower than it was a month ago but about 70 cents higher than the average last June, according to AAA.

Asked by Karl when he expects gas prices to return to prewar levels, Wright declined to give a prediction.

“But they will continue to head down,” he added. “Flows of oil and natural gas through the strait have already returned to normal, and they will continue that way, whatever happens with the negotiations with the Iranians.”

Wright also said Trump “knew he was going to drive up energy prices in the short run” with his actions against Iran, but that the president “had the courage to take the action anyway.”

Trump, meanwhile, issued a stark threat to the Middle Eastern country earlier Sunday, referencing the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah which has risked the 60-day U.S.-Iran ceasefire.

“Iran must immediately stop their highly paid PROXIES in Lebanon from causing trouble,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “If they don’t, we’ll hit Iran very hard again, just like we did last week, only harder!!!”
If I picked July 1 for my bet with @gagabobo1997 instead of June 1, I'd have a fucking cool spinning 3D Johnny Bravo avatar instead of this shit.

This is how I'm reading your posts now.

why are people giving a shit about the reflecting pool when midterms are coming up and the iran negotiations are happening?
Because those are complicated.

The reflecting pool is easier for them to understand.

It doesn't move, so it can't run away from them at a brisk walk while they hurple after it gasping for air.
It is inanimate so it can't fight back and kill them with a single punch.
It is unarmed so it won't fire randomly three shots and hit a child molester, a domestic abuser, and a rapist.
It isn't complicated as understanding how negotiations work because it is just water and concrete and sits there
It isn't as difficult as forging ballots and deliberately miscounting because it doesn't vote
They can understand it because it is a pool like the one in their upper middle class parent's house

So, yeah, they'll concentrate on the pool.

I almost said something like "Because not everyone wants to talk about Jew related things all day..." But Jewsperging is the default behavior here so that doesn't really track.

The Iran situation has been gamified and full of "Deals" already. No one cares anymore because no one really knows if this is even real.

They are 'Safe edgy' trolls, aka not real trolls
Want me to point you to Kirk getting shot trolls and see what the right's reaction to that was?
Like ok safe edgy sure, agreed. But then edgy edgy means you should lose your job because that's what the liberals did too. Like heads I win tails you lose energy, let's pick a lane right?

Mind raped.
