None of them know how they got there and have no memories of who they are, and the entire episode revolves around them trying to escape their prison, only for it to be revealed at the end they're not even real people at all, but they're toys in a donation bucket.

It would have been more interesting if they stretched it out over 9 episodes and had all the characters talk about their traumatic backstories. Thank God writing has evolved beyond those hacks who were writing in the 50’s.

I finally realized why Alex Rochon is so familiar. He got his start on Youtube doing gaming themed top ten videos. Known as the Autist, I mean Autarch of Flames, his videos would almost always boil down to Kefka is number 1!!! A waterfall of intense, cringey autism hit me when I realized this. Also, there was a time when he used to be thin.

I used to watch those countdown guys a lot. Some are decent, but Josh has been declining heavily. His countdown videos feel like the bare minimum to be above a Watchmojo video, by virtue that he has SOME personality and his editors hamfist a bunch of meme clips into his videos.

A while ago he tried to do countdowns specifically around boss battles with themes, but even that became old when the themes became more nebulous, and the fact that he was supposed to be talking about video game bosses you're supposed to fight became arbitrary.

More recently, he tried to make a new series where he talks about villain songs in all forms of media, not just video games. Not my cup of tea, but it seems like its something he actually enjoys, so fine.

Speaking of those videos though, the 18th one of these things was released after episode 8. I'm sure you can guess what happened

The more I think about it, the more I realize how jax the TRabbyt has a lot in common with 2 other characters I fucking hate: lars from steven universe and the faggOwlt from helluva boss.
Think about it, they are insufferable pieces of shit from start to finish.
The creator of the series seems to be fucking obsessed over them.
Episodes about them fucking sucks.
Their mere presence drags down the quality of the show they are in, into the dirt (even when the show wasn't good to begin with).
They get a particularly large amount of screentime even if they don't fucking deserve.
They remain static during the whole runtime, even if a bunch of retards will try to say the opposite.
Author think they are deeper than they actually are.

The “Jax is trans” twitter shit is on par with Dumbledore being retroactively labeled as a cocksucker by Rowling, although in this case I think Cooper is just trolling. If he’s actually a troon they wouldn’t have referred to Leeroy as a he at the end. Also when has Jax ever displayed any troon behaviour apart from wanting to an hero? If he was a tranny he would lose his fucking shit anytime someone referred to him as a male but that never happens in the show, in fact he even states he’s an example of peak masculinity which no troon would ever do. It makes a lot more sense in context for Jax to be a regular guy that is embarrassed about his feminine interests and it’s more realistic as well. Any normal man who says they like feminine shit is either going to be called gay or be laughed at by his peers. “Isn’t she lovely” doesn’t fit Jax either, he isn’t lovely in any way, it’s much more fitting for Pomni in the context of the show and the scene itself with how she genuinely cares for the people around her. I guess you can call it cope but if Nooseworx wanted Jax to be trans he should have said it outright in the show, the fact he didn’t makes me think he’s just fucking with people.

If I was an up and coming showrunner/producer looking for talent and after the finale of another really famous show an extremely autistic cast member started publically pontificating and blabbing about the canon he had nothing to do with, how much do you think I'm going to want to hire that guy? Like the nigga didn't even know they played DnD at the end, people seriously don't understand how little voice actors contribute to the real under the hood aspects of any production, the shit he's saying is worthless at best and really out of line and disrespectful towards Gooseworx at worst.

I remember that Josh was desperate to become a part of Channel Awesome back before the site collapsed. He spent a thousand dollars on their failed game show Kickstarter just so he could be part of a Skype call with Doug and Rob, and even after all that, he still wasn't made a contributor when they were looking for new talent. Shit was hilarious.

I'm gonna admit I have some nostalgia for those collabs. They were quintessential "2000s youtube nerdy kid in a basement reviewing video games" videos, and they actually started doing them a LONG time ago, well before Scorcher even got into the brony shit. In fact, it was before bronies even existed. I've seen them go as far back as 2009. They were definitely aiming for Channel Awesome, but frankly if you remember the state of YouTube's pisspoor monetization at the time, pretty much every video game youtuber who wanted to make it big tried to latch onto TGWTG or ScrewAttack or some other off-youtube website in order to actually make money. I'm happy for Alex making it...somewhere, even if he is a little cringe. He was cringe back then, too, but not in a way that I think exceeds what any other millennial theatre kid might be expected to do. As for Josh, I think that it's pretty sad that he was so committed to TGWTG/CA, since by the time he actually got to know them, any advantage that could have been gained by associating with them had evaporated, and he would have been better off working on his own content, which he did ultimately end up doing.
