Living through the 90's was cringe as hell, watching language go from intelligible speech to ebonic "Axe u a question, nigga" being not only accepted but celebrated and fucking protected. I remember being scolded in school because I was complaining about how I can't fucking understand half my classmates because they're mumbling and saying words that aren't real.

I'm actually rather glad they named and labeled it for esoteric funny reasons. When you give something a label like that, it becomes separate and it's easier to target and make fun of. It's so nonsensical that the more it's defended, the funnier the people defending it look.
I read his Rush Revere books as a kid, which was a fun way to learn about the American Revolution. Pretty well put together. I didn't appreciate what he was until I was older. He got treated like Hitler by the establishment. I remember seeing a old Pinky and the Brain clip of them shitting on Rush for his boomer takes, which at this point are very tame, and it made me realize that the left has never changed in my life.

The only group of people I’ve heard assume Latinos in the US were illegal were Democrats. They can’t stop themselves from grouping minorities into neat little boxes they assume will vote for them. It’s why they crash out so often during elections because the data shows those minority groups aren’t automatically for their causes. They do the same to women voters too, and can’t deal with women that don’t vote Democrat.
Once again reinforcing that the people who always accuse others of being racist are always the biggest racists themselves.
