If they don't get the uranium later on (they wont) my only copium is that this defeat will create anti-Israeli revanchism that causes a fascist dictatorship coup.

I read the entire thing myself and then listened to Vance's press conference where some of the unclear paragraphs were explained better.
The MOU:
- Is not the Peace Deal, it is an agreement on the floor of what each side will accept for continuing peace talks.
- Does not give Iran 300 million dollars to rebuild, it is allowing at least that much money to come in though foreign investments to rebuild. Shit like letting another Middle East country build and run a power plant, not giving them cash to do what they want with
- Does explicitly list the nuclear dust is a requirement of a final peace deal
- Does not immediately unfreeze their frozen assets or lift sanctions. The unfreezing of assets will happen over a time decided by a final deal and is tied to them keeping up their side.
The point of. "Iran just isn't going to do their side" is baked into the deal. There is a huge difference between this deal and the Obama one that that didn't follow. Obama's deal gave them a lump sum of cash upfront on their promise to not continue their existing nuclear program, and we blew their program up and are trickling in concessions if they continue to not rebuild it.
Iran backing out of their side of the deal only works if a weak administration is in place to not follow up on the repercussions, which is the entire point of the demoralization campaign, to get the Dems back in power so weak people that coddle Iran can kick this can down the road another 50 years

Also Vance literally said at the press conference that a ceasefire in such a heated situation is never a completely absolute thing, and flare ups are expected along the way.
