Phil is ranting about how detractors are dumbasses for making fun of him for buying Pokémon cards instead of saving money for his honeymoon to Japan.
They are dumb because, many years ago, he said he might want to go to Japan for his honeymoon. He doesn't anymore, he has many other places he'd like to go to for a honeymoon.

You'll never come out ahead opening booster packs. He's spent like $2,000 so far that we know about on booster boxes, and he has one $350 dollar card and a handful of $5-$15 dollar cards. Now compare that to the collection he could have if he just spent the $2,000 on single cards. And the more he continues to spend on opening packs, the wider the gap will grow between the value of his actual collection and the collection he could have if he just bought single cards.

It's honestly not about the value of the cards but the fact that some retards were actually giving him 50$ to open up packs. Like someone said, he is such a hermit that he will literally let the cards turn into moth food. Now, whether or not the openings are eating into his ever-shrinking finite income... I find any time an idiot who thinks he's smart is asked something, they often go on these rambling monologues in an attempt to prove just how smart they are.

Wait until DSP hears about Nursing Homes and Hospice when he's in his 60's.

You actually have to have money to be able stay a nursing home and I doubt that he will ever have enough money laying around to be able to afford a single day at a decent place, let alone 10 to 15 years at one.

I had a friend who died of liver failure due to alcoholism. I saw him about six months before he died, and I could tell his eyes looked wrong. Phil’s eyes don’t look that way. He also had a swollen gut from ascites, which is a lot easier to spot.
