I read the witness testimony from Chloe and I'm at a loss for words for what I feel right now.

Everyone involved - and I do not just mean the disgusting men who raped and tortured her at several points throughout her childhood - should face the death penalty over this. I cannot fathom, as a grown man with a conscience, how a law enforcement officer could listen to a twelve-year-old describing how she was being forced to have sex with men in cars and do nothing about it. Every layer of British society failed Chloe. This poor girl has had her entire life stripped away from her and will never be okay. Statistically she's at least four-five times as likely to kill herself with some studies estimating victims of prolonged and routine child abuse are up to thirteen times as likely to kill themselves.

I'm spoilering this part because the lack of care law enforcement and social services gave Chloe was so appalling that I don't feel like I should be ruining everyone else's day like mine was ruined:
