The Adriana Chechik lawsuit reached a confidential settlement in late 2025, with the claims process opening in January 2026. The settlement fund totals approximately $28 million, split between all qualifying claimants based on injury severity.

Court documents filed in San Diego Superior Court show the defendants agreed to settle without admitting fault. The case was set for trial in March 2026 but resolved during mediation in November 2025.

Three primary defendants contributed to the settlement pool. Twitch Interactive (owned by Amazon), the San Diego Convention Center, and Lenovo (the foam pit sponsor) all participated in the agreement.

I'm not saying this excuses it but imagine what she likely went through in the industry in the late 70s and early 80s. Could be that warped her. Could be she understood what she was getting into and was willing to sell her body to get fame.

Anyone know if this was a long time ago or much more recent sci-fi convention Fisher we're talking about?

Nigga, she died in 2016.

Prior to that... she was an actress who was famous to hundreds of millions of horny boys/young men for having been in Star Wars, and who all would have been keen to put that notch on their bedposts, but whose most significant post Star Wars acting credit was as Meg Ryan's friend in 'When Harry Met Sally'. That sort of thing would weigh heavy on your mind. I'm sure she had to deal with some hollyweird casting couch shit back in the 70s, but she wasn't selling it at cons.

She will have gone to tens if not hundreds of Star Wars themed events between Return of the Jedi and her death, and the idea that she 'sold herself' because at one point after one of those she got macked on by some fan who she happened to encounter there, some handsome, younger, relatively normal guy (hey, we're not talking Trekkies here), probably after a relationship breakup, probably after another disappointing role in another shit-tier movie, some dude who had a good approach like pretending to really like her performance in the latest shit movie she was in ('You should have been the lead'), or getting her going with a question along the lines of 'I read you punched up the lines in Scream 3 in Variety, how crazy was that?' ... is retarded. That's like suggesting a woman who fucks a man she happens to work at the same company with is a whore.

If it makes you feel better, IIRC pornhub stopped including their "Teen" tag because it was always by far the most searched and it was a bad look for both the site and users. So if you are upset about tags, just remember there are other popular tags they are not reporting on because of PR purposes.

So-called "legitimate" pollsters and market researchers still only barely publish their methodology and even as seemingly reasonable as their methodology is there's still so much wiggle room in it the whole industry amounts to "pay us to make the numbers work for you."

These guys? They're not publishing any numbers, showing any methodology, or doing anything even remotely "legitimate." These pretty infographics might as well just be presumed fake and entirely fictional. There are so many ways to twist the data they actually have to portray whatever narrative they like (as we're seeing here), and no proof any of it is legitimate anyway.

It's 100% lies. Remember despite the hopeless deluge of interracial garbage on the pr0n sites, actual IRL interracial relationships are exceptionally rare (single-digit percentages). It's all just lies.
