without selling the hit: -1243
Phil is far too lazy and inept to resell anything. He will count the value of the hit towards the running profit/loss balance in his dented head and use it to justify spending even more, but will never actually take any steps to sell it and actually realize that profit. Which means this faggot is out $1,253 buying pasteboard crap. At least when I blow a thousand bucks on trash I don't technically need it's a gun or a camera or parts for my truck, something I will actually use and get enjoyment from. Phil will never do anything with these cards. They will go into a binder and he will never even look at them again. Absolute lunacy.

Yakalmighty (failed youtuber about cameras and streaming tips, DSPs previous editor and mod) now has DSP with a new card beg. Dents that give 50$, if there is a "hit", dsp will write their name on the sleeve and put their name in the binder.

Very cool that he knows this box isn't resealed because the wrapping is tight. Wait the wrapping on the other 2 boxes was loose and shit so they were resealed? He is just going in circles on this Pokemon shit basically he just needs that money to open some fucking packs step it up!

Oh boy I can't wait to spend my 4th of July watching Phil come out of the clean out his closet and pigsplain the vest streak for 3 hours instead of blowing shit up with my family

It turns out Pokemon cards are perfectly designed to completely destroy Phil. They activate his mental illness on two fronts: his fiending for dopamine hits with the gacha aspect, and now, as displayed on today's prestream, it's also taking advantage of his organizational tism, with him literally taking time after work to arrange the cards in his binders.

He is going to spend tens of thousands of dollars on these.

Not to mention his predisposition towards hoarding manchild toys - e.g. the massive figurine collection he used to have.

It’s like crack being introduced to the ghettos in the 80s.

I wonder how bankruptcy 2: Pokémon boogaloo will pan out.

He actually thinks he is giving back to his viewers with those code cards which in reality no one fucking gives a shit about that is going to be his cope.

"I opened these for you guys! The code cards and the signed sleeves in my binder is some of the most meaningful content I have ever done!" this will be the cope when he either goes bankrupt or the money stops coming

Three fronts if you count his online shopping addiction.

It's actually way more intense than Champions.

Buying the pack? Dopamine hit.
Pack arrives? Dopamine hit
Opening the box? Dopamine.
Opening the packs? Even more dopamine.

If Phil took up smoking he'd kill a carton in a day. Dude just constantly needs hits because his life locked in the attic is so boring

The voice is very fucking real for DSP right now, holy shit.
This is truly fascinating , now that goals are back and he's tied it to the new addiction he's truly fucked. Every which way this goes, can only end badly for him.
Enjoy the ride, it might take a while but the pay off will be absolutely worth it.

I just opened Raw Phil and I'm not making this up these were the first words I heard "One pack no matter what. Let's get going. Let's get some support. Thank you for being here and let's get some packs opened", which he's doing the Trump thumb and index finger thing going with both his hands.
Soon.

its really a small miracle that phil isnt a drug addict yet, and part of the reason why hes so funny. well other than his gin drinking which mostly manifests itself in 2am drunk tweets at phils black bull ltg which in itself is also funny. pretty much anything else would cause him to spiral and become another dime a dozen trainwreck junkie cow.
i think phil doing roids to support his gym rat larp could be hilarious tho, but he thinks hes too good for that.

This is based on real napkin and denthead math in my head, but I feel like this Pokemon saga poses a real risk to Phil. One of Quartering's major issues is that he takes a business like livestreaming where the cost of production is borderline nil and finds a way to barely break even or even lose money on it, by paying Hannah Claire, Melonie Mac, and blowing money on opening card packs. Phil watched the doc on him and for some reason (gambling/gacha addiction) decided that he needed to emulate this closely.

The risk to Phil is that Quartering is a multi millionaire, with a wealthy family, other sources of income (as dubious or sparse as they are speculated to be), who owns a mcmansion and a decent amount of land. Phil is a nigger rich (more accurately, nigger upper-middle class) retard with a middle unit condo and a used toyota. If he's going to be openly dropping $300-400 a day on packs, binders, mickey mouse gloves oh my, he needs to be making that money back daily, but he's still having ~$50 streams a few times a week, rarely exceeding $150, and when you add to that that he is also dropping hundreds on boxes to open off screen which then can't even be written off, he really needs to be careful here.

A few weeks ago, before he went out of his way to acquire this expensive new addiction, he was making the same amount with no overhead. Now every other day he is dropping $250-300, and he is not getting $150 every stream consistently to even break even with it. Yes he profits approximately 5x for each pack he opens on stream, as each pack is approximately $8-10, but they're not going gangbusters in the sense that he's making significantly more than before. He's making the same amount, essentially, while massively increasing the cost to produce his "product" (his viewer-repellent streams). Assuming a baseline cost of $10 a pack, that just means every $50 on stream that he gets now, he has taken a 20% haircut on compared to before this saga where he had no real input costs besides buying the games he was going to wagequit.

Consider, too, that now all khantributions count, not just tips. We've all been seeing some of the recent streams where he makes barely anything on tips, and instead gets most of his money through superchats. That's another 30% hit for what has become the majority of his income. This was a very dumb move by Phil to go out of his way to get addicted to this Pokemon shit he does not even care about, and he's wading into some dangerous waters here, in my opinion.

He's rubbernecking so much this stream it makes his asymmetrical hair loss really apparent. What causes this? Excessive UV exposure on one side from the arrgeebbee lights killing his follicles?

Just you wait until the Washington pot industry rolls out gacha based prerolled mystery joints. Gotta pull the rare strain!
