Its cult tactics 101. Satanists, Mormons, new atheists, Scientologists, and even many of the smaller sects of Christianity all talk about their group provides boundless pleasures and it's all a lie for recruitment. In reality the key to happiness is to learn to enjoy living below your means so you can always move on up in life, finding a community that welcomes you and likes things you like, and enjoying the little things in life. Technically all cults do offer this. But anyone offering you it directly is absolutely selling some snakeoil with it.
Part of why the metaphor works, is because just like the real, non-tranny selves of trannies, abstracted characters technically aren't dead, and some could - theoretically - be brought back if people figured out how.

Genuinely curious, can anyone explain why they hate the show so much?
I understand hating Gooseworx, but the show is really nothing more than just okay. It's a little up it's own ass sometimes, and it's clearly just a Mascot-Horror facsimile of I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, but I don't feel like there's anything extremely out there, content-wise.
I can tell this thread is either going to become essentially inactive after only a few weeks or become one of the most longest and popular running threads, there will be no in-between
