I spent the last four hours reading every highlight on this absolutely horrifying thread. This might be what makes me finally take the leap and completely quit porn, instead of just reducing use. Reading the incredibly upsetting life of a lot of the pornstars, and the absolute degeneracy of some of the ones I know by name, like Lucie Wilde, Lana Rhoades, Marsha May... it's the last straw.
From the top down, it's all horrifying.
Porn made in the last five years or so has been absolute trash too, I guess that helps with kicking off the habit.

Funny how so many of the vices actually worked better under the mafia's control -- booze, pornography, gambling ... shit dude, ask pretty much any Vegas local and they'll tell you Vegas was a much cleaner, nicer experience for locals and tourists when the mob was in charge. Things were cheaper (even including inflation), people didn't get nickle-and-dimed to death, the casinos made fucktons of money anyway, there were no niggers and minimal crime, things were cleaner, and they made sure to take care of the tourists instead of burning them at every opportunity.

Then wily (greedy) career-chasing politicians and prosecutors swept in, chased out the mafia, brought in the corporations, secured their cut, and walked away. Now Vegas sucks and the cash flow is drying up anyway.

Face it, the Italians are just better at the grift than pretty much anybody.

Funny story, reading about Cody Lane and the blue room was what made me quit. Everyone has that moment where the brain just course corrects itself.
