I’ve seen people say in the Greer thread that this may be the reason why Greer has gotten away with so much bullshit with the bow tied judge, although Greer is an ex-Mormon so wouldn’t they hate him if that’s the case?

I think the reason Greer gets away with what he does is because he won a Hail Marry appeal overturning the judge's decision to dismiss the case. The judge being burned by the Court of Appeals once is willing to let this stuff go to trial just to wash his hands of the situation. He's hoping that Josh never appeals any of his unlawful rulings and as long as Josh doesn't, this gambit pays off.

Fun fact: a Komatsu D355A with the ripping claw and front blade weighs about 120,000 pounds which is a pretty considerable amount of pounds, and that's before you put all the armor plating on there. It is difficult to imagine how big one is until you stand next to it.

It amazes me that PPP can't see why living in the Digital Circus is awful. Your loved ones are gone, you progress through life (further your career, work on hobbies, get married, have kids, buy a house, learn new skills) is gone, everything you know is gone. Everything in the circus is pointless, it's nihilism made real. That's why people go insane. The adventures are kinda enjoyable here and there but they won't fulfil you. On top of that your stuck in perpetual daylight in an environment built only for G rated entertainment to the point where you can't even swear. It would be like having to dress like a kid every day. Even if you do try to take something seriously, you can't. And many of the characters have been inside for years, I think they've actually lost track of time.

You've both missed the Cain and Able reference. Able was the blue AI, the one Caine killed and absorbed. They were the first AI of their kind just like Cain and Able were the first children of humans.

This entire series is an elaborate meta narrative. Much like Caine struggles to entertain an ungrateful audience and decided to torture them instead, so has Gooseworks struggled to entertain PPP, so he decided to torture him with increasingly bad writing.

Except they spelled Cain's name differently from the biblical version and the only reference to this is introduced and resolved in the same episode 7 episodes in. It's not hinted at at any time earlier because it wasn't even a thought in Troonworx's dumb tranny skull before he felt the pressure to try and pretend he was building up to a big epic finale. Before then, he was only concerned with getting more fetish material in.

You can't just say something is bad. You have to show it. As far as I'm concerned living in England is hell on Earth. If I made a show about England being hell on Earth and everyone just sat around drinking tea you'd be like, "what's so bad about this" and I'd just gesture frantically "it's England". Your points are all philosophically owned epically by The Myth of Sisyphus: up until episode 8 they are only choosing to be unhappy and make no effort to be happy. If I made a show about England being miserable I'd have to show people being stabbed by Muslims and Sikhs, I'd have to show the rotting infrastructure, and the maternalistic police. Troonworx's job was to use the adventures to advance the meta narrative while the same time giving people adventure set pieces that develop the characters. He did not do that.

The characters never explore the limits of their environment and never have a reason to upset other than the fact they can't leave, but they can't even remember who they are. You can't really leave your life in the real world so it just comes across petulant. Bizarrely, Zoobal complaining about not being able to have sex is the most human and legitimate complaint of the entire show and is one of the only real grievances explored (because Troonworx is a sex pest tranny).

It is a bad show written poorly that has captured some imagination because its themes are relatable to the young generation, but that doesn't mean it is well made.

@Null I'm not defending Gooseworks, trust me. I hate troons and TADC has glaring issues. It drastically misuses it's time. The fact that it took until episode 8 for them to think of talking to Kinger is absolutely baffling to me. There are countless conversations like that that every character should have thought to have at this point. He could have also expressed the subtle horror of being stuck in this world together a little better. I felt it pretty clearly but I may have been helping the show by doing some of the work myself, idk. It's been a while since I've watched something truly excellent and I don't watch many shows these days so take that with a grain of salt.

I know they misspelled Cain's name but it just fits too perfect with the explanation in episode 8. I think the Able NPC in episode 7 was a red haring. I think the troon does this several times throughout the show because he's annoyed with his audience, like when he did the favorite character awards bit.

I'm not sure what exactly it is about this show that I enjoy. It's not something I SHOULD enjoy on paper. Maybe if I was exposed to more slop like this I'd hate it more. I fully expect to despise Hazbin if I watch along with Kiwi Kasino Klub.

The thing is legally the British Parliament has completely unrestricted power to do whatever it wants. The British "constitution" is basically:

• Parliament can make laws about anything.
• The current Parliament can't bind a future Parliament.
• Nothing Parliament does is illegal.

For example in 2024 the Conservative Party wanted to send boat migrants to Rwanda and when the British supreme court blocked it because it was unsafe they passed a law declaring Rwanda is safe if you wanna know the truth about it and the judge can go fuck himself. The UK is still bound by international treaties and obligations, one of the most severe of which is the ECHR, is it not? AFAIK Denmark is the only country (so far) that has passed laws contravening ECtHR case law (on immigration), so how that'll work in practice has still to play out.
