I have been dubious of this claim for so long. I finally took the time to look into it. And no surprise it's mostly entirely bullshit. The idea that prisons across the country are purposely putting trans individuals with violent rapists knowing they'll be raped as a way to punish trannies is bunk.
The truth, or what I gather from using ChatGPT and google for sources, there is evidence that SOME prisons in the past would put a tranny with violent offenders and rape did happen. And yeah obviously that is gross. But the VAST majority of "evidence" is, surprise surprise, convict troons just claiming it happened. There were two incidents that were proven where a warden knowingly put the tranny in with a gang leader who wanted to fuck him and in return he calmed his people down from violence. That's fucked and one warden got fired for it.
But the rest is all just claims. Theres not been any "leaks" from prison staff or testimony that this is happening wide scale like they claim. It is true that troons are much more likely to get raped than others, but that's fucking obvious. It isn't because the staff are forcing it. It's just that it's prison. And unfortunately rape happens in prison.
And lastly, their experience as troons in male prison is just proof why THEY are a danger to women in their prison system. Troons should be smart about this. They should just fight to get a federal prison made that's specifically for troons. Thats far more likely to happen than them getting support to be placed in with women.

I've cleaned a lot of bathrooms, unironically I was a janny. There is not a public bathroom that you can lock from the outside that I've ever seen. I don't know how this lie can even be debated. What you would never want is to be inside a bathroom with no way out. Does any one not see what kind of fire hazard that is? You can latch yourself in, but NOONE will ever be able to lock you in a bathroom. Also, the fact that most bathroom doors (the ones I've cleaned at least) have all had inward facing doors. So without some weird ass contraption, that I don't know of, you can never lock a public bathroom door from the outside.
It's a remote possibility, but in an awkward retrofitted bathroom in some hole-in-the-wall, like an alt music venue that used to be a house or a run-down Chinese restaurant.
