It depends. If they find something heavy, he is going to face consequences. The trip alone isn't enough but if they have more stuff on him, they will use them. Don't assume he has nothing incriminating. They will ask him about his friend, he will throw them under the bus, he will be let free and he will be arrested on a later date after what they found on him get investigated.

Yeah, he's not getting out of this unscathed. The public probably wont see it and he'll keep going for a few more years; but, like we've already been seeing, less people are going to want to be associated with him, less puff pieces will be written, less sponsorships state and corporate. He just demonstrated that he's a song bird. Doesn't matter if what he's saying is public knowledge or not (people like Signham, Soros... ect. hide in plain sight anyway).
