I think most metropolitan cities would do well to elect/install a Trump-alike as mayor. Accurate replicas only, please.
Somebody with fatigue and American would be beneficial to clean up all this crime. That's just one step. I do not know if mayors are able to resign judges or DAs. That's where the real change starts.

Don't fall for the sob stories, they hate you and view themselves as your superior:

AI has not been public for 12 years. If this guy was here 12 years, at minimum he was bumming around in school for 6, and only got picked up into some AI VC thing post 2020. AI does not make the world run. People still gotta build shit, grow the crops, transport materials, mine ore- the hubris on this bitch

Every single foreign AI expert learned on the job. Even China's AI industry only exists because of Chinese engineers trained in the US by Americans who went back to China (if Google/OpenAI/Anthropic had hired Americans instead when they needed more workers beyond the core team, they wouldn't have any foreign competitors).

That guy isn't an AI expert though and just has some job as a biologist at some biotech startup.

Ehhhh. You sure about that? Ai has been public since the 1950s and Google even has modern image diffusion tech as old as 2008 that was public to view. Not to mention machine learning's role in robotics and medicine. Not saying he isn't crying crocodile tears. Especially since if he's here to work he should get an h1-b. Green cards are for migrants who don't have to work a high end job. So why isn't he applying for a visa? He's absolutely lying, but the lie about contributing to ai development isn't that he could'nt have done it. But rather that if he did he would already have an h1-b which would allow him to stay here to work.

I just find it eyebrow raising how many people are suddenly "AI experts" now, when it's basically only been theroy for decades, and now only able to be realized with modern hardware. Jeets really are going to ruin the next moon shot at this rate

It was different. They had the ideas, even some of the early code. They lacked the hardware for a long time. It was a small world until recently.

USCIS subreddit is already seething. For those without trophy wife mail-order brides, let me explain the intention of the I-485, Adjustment of Status (AOS), application.

When someone comes to America on a temporary basis, like as a tourist, student, or for a short business trip, they use what is called a ‘non-immigrant visa’ or a visa waiver. Now, if you happen to get married/pregnant, the I-130+I-485 applications allow you to become a permanent resident while staying in the U.S. The intention is for bona fide families to be able to remain together without too much burden.

Now, of course there are a whole class of people who abuse this system, often with large sums of money involved, because this process is not only faster than consular processing (getting a green card outside of America), but non-immigrant visas are also easier to get. There is a legitimate purpose for the AOS system, but it makes sense that DHS would try to seal up loopholes enabled by it.
It gets better, apparently there are 75 countries where you already can't apply through the consulate there to get a greencard, so this also works as a country blacklist.

Bravo, Miller

'South Park' creators vow to 'keep going' against Trump. 'We do not care'

"We laid into him so hard, and the thing became: 'Well, who’s the bully now?' It became this just totally juvenile joke of like, 'We’re not gonna stop. We’re going to do it every single week,'" Parker told the event's host Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group Co-Chair and CEO Mike De Luca. "Even when everyone’s like, 'OK, guys, move on,' [we’re] like, 'Nope, we’re not moving on. We’re going to keep going, going, going.'"

Parker said that their commitment to mocking Trump "became the joke." Stone said the pair have always avoided playing it safe since South Park's 1997 premiere, adding that they would rather the show fail than lose its provocative nature and focus on reflecting pop culture, which Parker has previously said is now inextricably political.

Trey Parker Admits “It’s Scarier” to Do ‘South Park’ in the Trump Era: “That Group Has a Military”

He went on to explain how he’s often told that he and partner Matt Stone are fearless for these days devoting so much of their animated comedy to mocking Donald Trump, which has created a ratings bonanza and reinvigorated the show while also angering the White House.

Parker shouted out his writing staff for being brave alongside them, “especially this year when we started saying like, ‘OK, so this is the show we’re going to do,’ and they’re like, ‘Oh, OK — that’s gonna really piss some people off.'” He noted that throughout the show’s three-decade run, “there’s always groups telling you what you can and can’t say; now that group has a military and so it is scarier. They have to be fearless.”

Loser stoners destroy already dying program to spite orange man who doesn't even watch their show.

I'd take them a lot more seriously on the "fearless" and "never played it safe" bits if that supposed gumption was on display at literally any time during the Obama or Biden years.

This is actually wonderful news that stifles the most common source of illegal immigration in the country today, overstaying visas while waiting for a green card.
If you apply for the green card before your visa expires, it’s not considered overstay (unless the green card is denied). But if you adjust status after overstay, the overstay is ‘forgiven’ which I think is bullshit. Unauthorized work is also ‘forgiven’.

Misleading headline. It was some assmad Iraqi who was trained by the IRGC, not an IRGC member, and there doesn’t appear to be a connection to the war, but rather to Trump’s actions in his first term.
I think the press is gearing up for a war. Not a bombing op. Excluding the most terminally online morons and Trump derangement syndrome sufferers most Americans don't really like it when the daughter of the president is targeted. Whether it be an actual irgc member or someone who went to their training camps. It's a bipartisan thing. You just don't go after the guy's kid. And before anyone says anything, the Hunter Biden thing was just classless. It actually didn't win Trump. Any support? Because it was very clear that Hunter Biden is a complete fuck up who spent this money and influence doing blow and banging thai hookers, (And the whole Ukraine thing is really nothing more than the rich version of putting your fuck up son in a job that you arrange so we can just not have to rely on you for everything).

But sure Iran, you keep on doing that. You're going to win all the awards. You totally won't anger most of the American population, and get them to petition Congress to turn you into the 51st state. GG
