Inheriting windfalls and putting them in various index funds is not really shameful. But, the one thing that is shameful is complaining about inflation and market shake-ups without considering the full US expenditures on a daily and grand economic overview. Everyone is just like "AHhhH~! Red, I see red on my brokerage site! DAMN YOU TRUMP AND IRAN AHHHH!" instead of focusing on a greater picture.

I don't. Which is why I'm happy it's still not really a war yet. Killing terrorists from afar using unmanned drones isn't war or else Obama would be the greatest warhawk in the world. I'll admit we're dangerously close to war and economically this skirmish is costing us far too much. But so long as there are no boots on the ground or breadlines and we eventually reap rewards from it I don't really care. America has too many problems to fix in 4 years. As long as a prolonged push against fraud is underway the US should mostly be fine. Even at our worst America had the best economy in the world. Which should just clue you in how horrible every other world leader is. Trump could very well be the worst president in us history. It's not true, nor is Biden in reality (we've had far far worse than even Sleepy Joe). And yet. In Biden and Trump's worst years we were still number 1 economically in the world. So no matter how bad you think Trump is. Just remember. Literally everyone else leading is worse.
