How do you manage to not drown in the rain?

Even if the US stopped selling oil to the rest of the world, and therefore managed to keep gas prices from rising precipitiously (it won't), everything around the world that is produced will become drastically more expensive until/unless the strait is opened.

Have you checked inflation lately? It's going to get a lot worse, very soon, and that's without Iran striking oil and gas infrastructure in the region.
