However, according to its_a_volvo, nothing she's said indicated she was in a polyamorous relationship. She maintains that she was cheated on and betrayed in her comments. She states that her relationship lasted approximately a year, but he had a partner and a "double life" the whole time. She repeatedly brings up the term "double life" in her reddit comments.
She also implied that there were numerous other sexual partners on her twitter. Because of Lonerbox's confessed history of polyamory. Some misinterpreted her tweets as stating that the issue was the lack of condoms with other partners, and that was the crux of the matter, assuming that his relationship with her was a poly one. But from Volvo's reddit accounts, it's obvious she felt betrayed by the existence of any other partners in the relationship to begin with, the lack of sexual protection is just an additional grievance.
