gonna shout this into the void here, if china does end up making a deal to buy boeing plans it seems like an admission that their commercial jet program is much further behind than pretty much everyone assumed. I wonder if they are going to use these to take some apart and try to reverse engineer? I don't have Boeing bookings off the top of my head but I think they are out like 5 years before china would even get them.

The problem was, for a little while, that they didn't always advertise that it was specifically for Jewish-focused youth and education programs.
I guess that's what makes it feel scammy, that you don't know what the money is going to beyond "for the kids". That's a nit to pick (so pick your charities well before you donate) but another nit is how much of each car donation goes to advertising rather than actually helping the kids. Thats what I meant when I said "another charity is a scam" when the only thing their charity "does" is "raise awareness about a problem" and there are too many of those to count at this point.

Fewer? I thought they were originally shooting for 150.

Possibly. It could be that they are making so many fighter jets that the commercial jet program has taken a backseat. If you're legitimacy to power is invading Taiwan, thats much more important than commercial jets. Xi could buy Sukhoi superjets but that programs been shutdown since the war with no end it sight. In that case, the US is more reliable for wide body commercial jets.

I thought this was well-known? They say their charity is for kids, which is technically correct, but what they don't tell you is the money goes specifically towards Jewish charities. Also, the people who run it should be ritually tortured and executed for the jingle alone.
I hate to be that guy, but kids don't fucking drive. The whole thing always felt like selling old cars to the cartels or a front for the car lobbies.

With how much the European government cucks out to the chinks, I thought they would've gone for the Airbuses. I'm assuming the industry across the pond is that fucked?

Talking politics will make you miserable, this site is nice because you get the news and then people act all goofy and shit and maybe call each other slurs a little
But I’m already miserable!

Didn’t GK Chesterton say if you’re not talking about politics you’re talking about nothing, or something like that?

Politics can have its ugly aspects but it's an innate part of the human experience, disliking it in and of itself seems pointless. There were politics when man selected its first king and there will be politics when man expands out into the cosmos.

I hate to call you a retard, but what the charity does (and is upfront about this) is it sells old cars and puts that money towards the charity. The cars were not literally for kids. The idea is you'd give your car to them, they'd handle everything, you get a tax deduction, and that's it. That is the actual advantage to Kars4Kids: you give them your old shitty car, they handle all the horseshit, and you get a tax deduction.
