I need to remember to clip this tonight. I finally am getting around to watching Tucker's recent interview with Megyn Kelly. In one portion of it he goes deeper into some of the conversations he had with Trump prior to the War. Most of it is what he had already put out, about Trumps response to him was essentially repeating "do you want Iran to have a nuclear bomb?". But he gave more context in this interview. I think it's worth getting that little portion clipped out for people that aren't going to want to see the full interview or want to deal with scanning through the video to see it.

The 4 May 2026 Special Report from the ISW, titled "Applying US Air Warfare Theory and Doctrine to Evaluate the Campaign against Iran, Part II: Iranian Missile Forces" (Link / Archive), includes the following assessment. (The report is much longer, and I am only selecting the main points.)
The US-Israel combined force achieved meaningful operational and strategic successes vis-à-vis the Iranian ballistic missile program before the ceasefire. The combined force spent weeks striking a wide range of missile facilities across Iran based on long-standing US air warfare theory and doctrine. This effort disrupted Iran’s missile operations, degraded its missile capabilities, and destroyed much of the industrial and knowledge bases supporting the missile program. The combined force prevented the Iranian missile force from executing its concept of operations and accomplishing its campaign objectives. The combined force has also degraded the Iranian ability to reconstitute and improve its missile capabilities without years of rebuilding.
The US achieved military successes through its Air Warfare Doctrine. Iran wasn't able to sustain missile attacks throughout the war, as Iran originally planned and prepared for. That doesn't mean Iran is incapable of rebuilding, rearming, and fighting round 2 of a war, however.
The ceasefire has likely enabled Iran to rapidly recoup the operational setbacks that it has suffered. Shock within the Iranian missile force and the inability of commanders to communicate laterally and vertically in their organization are temporary effects. The missile force will recover psychologically. Commanders have likely resumed communications absent tangible military pressure. The engineering crews responsible for retrieving launchers inside collapsed underground facilities proceeded to do so without interference.
Iran will likely be able to launch relatively more missiles more effectively in the days after the resumption of fighting. As fighting resumes, this increase should be understood as a result of the operational pause during the ceasefire rather than a broader failure of the campaign.
Which is exactly what is happening now. It is unclear what round 2 would look like.
Nevertheless, the serious damage to the missile program highlighted above suggests that the United States and Israel have achieved key strategic effects.
Even with those key strategic effects, Iran hasn't surrendered.
And finally, the main points I've been stating for a while:
Positive strategic effects and trends do not mean that the war is an overall strategic success, however. It remains unclear if and how the strategic effects highlighted above can be maintained absent “spot-hitting” the missile program. Even a years-long setback to the missile program is recoverable.
The war is not over, and the final judgment of its success must be based on the political agreement that ends it. Overall success must ultimately be determined by whether the United States achieves its political objectives.
War is a tool used to achieve strategic goals when diplomacy fails. If Iran gains control of the Strait, it doesn't stop all uranium enrichment (for nuclear weapons), and doesn't unconditionally surrender, then it doesn't matter how many Iranians the US killed, or how many missile launchers or boats were destroyed. The US would have failed to achieve its strategic goals, and by extension, "lost" Trump's war. MIGA loves to see Trump and his cult post about the many launchers destroyed, or the boats seized, or the soldiers killed, but if the US gives up or fails to achieve its goals, then did it really matter?
Stephen Kotkin, one of the foremost experts on Joseph Stalin and the Soviet Union (among other topics), has stated in multiple lectures/interviews that to win a war, one must destroy the enemy's capacity and will to fight. Iran's will to fight isn't destroyed, proven by its refusal to surrender (even under threat of genocide), and its capacity to fight is being restored.
It doesn't matter if ~90% of Iran's missile launchers are destroyed and 80% of its Navy seized if Iran doesn't surrender and Trump doesn't get what he demands.

After a decade of this observation reinforcing itself over and over, it’s made me realize who the real boogieman is.

And this, right here, is precisely how I believe the people I knew that used to be reasonable and measured in their thinking became the miggers I know today. It’s the same tactic that cults use for recruitment: isolate them, and give them the validation they crave by reinforcing their personal biases. One example in particular was a friend who was particularly unlucky when it came to dating, leading to him starting to repeat a bunch of incel redpill talking points before diving head-first into the MIGA grifterverse. It’s just as insidious as selling crack to school kids.
TLDR: Miggerism is to miserable, impressionable retards what the crack epidemic was to black communities in the 80s.
Bonus story: a buddy of mine went to visit said redpilled migger a few weeks ago, and he apparently sounded exactly like the tweet that was posted a few pages back: “nobody else seems to want to talk to me or hang out anymore!” No shit migger, it’s because you’ve become insufferable to be around.
