This is one is in the same level as the Artemis brothel. What happened is that Hasan's beards girlfriends (I think he means more than one in the second clip) at the time managed to drag him to a Diddy party. This is a lot more complicated than it seems. On one, Ethan did over blow it. On the other, the Ayyrabs podcast (the people that made the tier list in a very empty and manufactured panel at Twitchcon 2024) had a clear intent to place an Israeli brand of hummus as inauthentic, or "too white" to be properly middle eastern. MikefromPA and even one of the hosts were picked for the Loves Sabra tier and they took it about as nicely as a domesticated leftie can by being called a cracker. The tier list was about using the word "habibi" and who could use it as if it was a race specific term rather than friend in Arabic. It was a joke way of implying who was and who wasn't in the in-crowd of self appointed Arab creators. While Ethan of all people (proud ranker of white people slurs) doesn't get to bitch about it, the Ayyrabs guys knew exactly what they were doing.
Dude, is this the first time you have seen his crocodile tears? He cries very often for the camera (like that time in Leftovers) and he managed to squeeze at least three puff pieces of Kirk's passing (The New York Times, Mother Jones and Politico). If I'm not mistaken, he even released an op-ed about what he was going to say on the debate they were going to have. If anything he milked his death as much as it was allowed for a leftie.
