Disagree. Where I lived back east, a junkie tried to kick my door in while I was at work and my wife and kids were home alone. It was a last straw. And I was paying close to $2k/month for a two bedroom, second floor unit with uncommunicative slumlords and half the outlets no longer working, whereas now I rent a four bedroom house for $1k/month and people ride horses around town
