The major goyslop producers seem to have jacked up their prices far beyond inflationary costs, smaller/independent brands have gone up too ofc but they aren't doing straight highway robbery. Fucking kraft singles cost as much as some good imported cheeses now. My grocery has them for the same price per lb as the superior american cheese at the deli counter. At least it's a null W

You know how you can tell this is all bullshit? Check farmers markets. In the past they were more expensive than grocery shopping as they were small and independently owned. Now all my dairy is cheaper at the farmers market, and meat and produce is not too far off.

It’s also worth noting that while we pay these crazy prices, profits are up for every company. This isn’t just about gouging us now, it’s about finding out our absolute limit so the new minimum bar can be set. I doubt we’ll ever see gas under $3 in this country without a depression. Right now gas companies are gouging us while making record profits over a fake crisis so they can come back later like “ok they seemed to tolerate $5 a gallon, that’s our new minimum price.”

Exxon Mobil refusing to start drilling in Venezuela was a curve ball Trump wasn't expecting. That was the whole purpose of the invasion. Duh. Notice how you don't hear about the US's involvement in Venezuela anymore.
The big oil compaies should diversify into other interests, like the big tobacco companies did decades ago, before it's too late.
