Just to be clear, in case this was in response to my post in specific, I wasn't saying that about Trump voters. I was describing the huge swath of voters in America who don't pay any attention to politics, aren't aligned with any party or any real defined ideology or list of issues, and just vote on weird incoherent things like whether they'd want to get a beer with a candidate whatever. These people can go either way depending on criteria that more engaged voters cannot understand.

The soil, which was dumped near one of the three golf courses at East Potomac, tested positive for lead, chromium and other toxic metals, The New York Times reported, citing data from the National Park Service (NPS).


Trump is eyeing a takeover of the D.C. public golf system with the East Potomac site in mind, an effort that has sparked legal challenges from district golfers and national preservation groups.

A spokesperson for the Department of the Interior told the Times “the soil was tested, multiple times by multiple parties, and this project passed all standards set by law,” and insisted the “thorough process was followed” to ensure the transfer of the material from the White House grounds “was safe for the public.”

The D.C. public golf system has for the last several years been operated by the National Links Trust, which leased the land from NPS and said it was surprised to learn of the Trump administration’s attempted takeover of the East Potomac property.

At a hearing on Monday, U.S. District Judge Ana Reyes declined to immediately block the Trump administration from beginning work on the property but instructed the NPS notify the preservation group if they plan to cut down more than 10 trees or if plans change.

“I understand mercury and lead, if its there is bad, but its there,” Reyes said during the hearing. “I’m not going to ask them to dig it all up without good reason to.”

This makes sense because the building is old and dated. In a civilised country, the building will be quarantined first for engineers to assess its condition. What are the materials? Will there be any potential for asbestos exposure? Waste management plan?

The simple answer is moderation. In a weird twist of faith, X is a lot less moderated than KF. There's no thread jannie that will steer the conversation to exactly what they want it to be on X. Even patriot.win had to tighten moderation to keep only true believers. It's a feedback loop, since miggers are relentlessly mocked everywhere now, including facebook lmao, so they congregate back to their safe spaces.

And when moderation of a thread isn't an issue, there are a few users that will shit up every normal thread with endless hasbara and gunt guarding. Just look at the thread about the IDF destroying a statue of jesus in lebanon. You'd think it would be rather straightforward, but somehow the thread devolved into a 40 pages thread, and actually you were probably brown if you were criticizing the IDF, and idolatry is a sin so they were actually even better christians than the christians guys! Like you mentioned with the feedback loop, the fact that miggers also have multiple threads here that act like designated safe spaces adds a lot to it too. There's no reason for them to actively venture out of USPG2, so it's easier for them to cling onto a hugbox.
