This is what I mean. I don't get why Zoomers are so tribal about generational divides.
From my point of view from both the zoomer and as someone who holds some rage towards old generations, we’re tribal because we didn’t get the future we were promised. We’re stuck with paying the bill for Baby boomers to millennials that allowed them to enjoy their youth and be happy. Leftists and liberals like to make the argument of a post racial society and science focused world that we were promised. Conservatives and right wingers use the argument of being promised the ability to raise a family and get a house. Now we’re in a society that wants to make you look evil for being against allowing children to transition or sexual degeneracy. Another big thing is the job market, so many of us were told growing up that we needed to learn to code so that we could get high paying jobs and when we did that, we got replaced by Indians and AI. We are in a very bad time in modern humanity and our generation feels there’s no hope. Maybe a bit too heavy of a sperg but it’s an honest one

How do you reconcile this with the fact that most of Gen Z are leftists? Too many brownoids?

Oh, no. How horrible.
If only NATO could have done something these past few weeks to prove how invaluable they are.

I think NATO ending is the best thing for everyone involved tbh. It's a relic of the cold war and it's clearly doing more harm than good for US/European relations.

I don't really blame them for not wanting to get involved in the Iran shitshow though.

Judge Kyle Duncan in Louisiana appointed by President Trump places a block on Mail order abortion pills in the entire country.

In the ruling, Judge Kyle Duncan, who was appointed by President Donald Trump, agreed with the state of Louisiana’s contention that allowing the drug to be mailed there makes moot the state’s ban on abortion at all stages of pregnancy.

I don’t think most of Gen Z are left wing, they’re for the most part either polarized right wing, left wing, or are completely apolitical. I think the biggest reasoning as to why so many Gen Z people are openly leftist is because of Covid, Obama’s presidency, and suicidal empathy. So with Obamas presidency he was obviously the first Nigga in office and as such people believed we were in a post racial society- emphasize this onto the fact that most of us were really young when he first got into office and became preteens to teenagers by the end of his presidency. It was instilled within us during those eight years that essentially race isn’t real and that we should ignore that. Covid was another turning point because when you isolate a bunch of preteens and teenagers away from a public school setting where they can properly develop and instead stick them in front of a screen for 8+ hours a day during their most critical period of development in school, they’re going to come out as awkward, shy, and unintelligible to people who didn’t have to experience this. Another big thing during Covid was a big rise in teens thinking they’re trans and all these different sexualities and having them constantly affirmed by other teenagers and ostracizing anyone who questioned it. This led to a massive rise in leftism taking over people’s lives and having them think they have more in common with the 34 year old balding tranny who is seeking constant gender affirmation than their family members. Suicidal empathy also builds into that with how a lot of people in my generation will care more about someone who shares nothing culturally at all with them what so ever than the person who lives across the street with differing political views. Throw in things like Hasan Piker, Destiny, Nick Fuentes, and other retards who gained a massive Gen Z following during and post Covid, you can start to see why everyone is so radicalized. Nuance is dead and Covid killed it.

I adore how stupid-angry people get about a change that generally has next to no actual impact on their monthly expenses. At $2.50/gal, driving a car that gets 30 mpg 10 miles to/from work every day costs $1.60 per day to commute to/from work. Or about $35 per month to commute to work by car.

When gas "explodes" to $4.50 in price, that same commute is $3 per day, or about $63 per month to commute to work by car, a difference of ... wait for it, $28.

It's one of the least-significant expenses in the average family budget and even wild fluctuations to it have a minimal impact to the bottom line. If a $30 increase to commute price is really enough to throw your finances into flux, you have bigger problems, since literally everything else you spend your money on monthly (besides rent) can fluctuate more, namely electricity, groceries, insurance (if you pay month-to-month and have an accident, even when not at fault), kid's random expenses, etc.

Hurr-durr muh gas prices. "lol fuck off and drive less" is the correct response to such retardation, every fucking time.
It affects diesel and thus makes logistics more expensive, you goony bird.

Hung (lo) Cao, the new Secretary of the Navy, is former Naval Captain and holder of an EOD master badge. He looks like a better choice than the MIC persons who are usually appointed as secretaries. The Navy really needs someone who can cut through the managerial BS and get things done.

He's also a based chinaman and had some fun comments recently (he's Vietnamese).

Edit: nitter

That's been a general trend for a long time. The political spectrum has been divided for decades and decades but the ideological gap between young men and women has been widening. Both graphs are from 2024

You need to differentiate by gender at least (and then account for brownoids, which I assume will pull it further right).

Right and it’s going to continue being an issue because women believe being able to kill their child is a human right and that we should let in 200 million brown immigrants who share no cultural values whatsoever with us. Suicidal empathy

There's plenty of based red-pilled chudettes, but they're a treasured minority in their cohort.

Gen Z…I dunno Gen Z seem to be leftist in like they are okay with some weird ass shit that a classical conservative would not be, but they also still want a lot of shit that is deemed racist and regressive.

I dunno like nazi femboys and black Hitlers. Its weird. I don’t fucking get it. Just like the Soyjack dudes.

It really is odd how starkly political views diverges along gender lines.

They should bring Huan Nguyen out of retirement. He was one of the victims of Nguyen Van Lem's terrorist attacks when he was a child. Lem was the dude who was shot in the head by General Loan in that famous photo by Eddie Adams. Loan did nothing wrong, by the way. A historian, Ed Moise, infamously claimed Lem was an innocent boy, he dindu nuffin, even though Lem admitted to it and bragged about it (which is why Loan lost his shit and shot him). I could go on and on about this shit.

What are your guys all thoughts on hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles? I think they may be the way to go for new cars going forward. No range issues like an EV and excellent torque. And the batteries are smaller.
I was really excited for that Ram-charger concept. It was a gas-electric (not hybrid) truck that could tow 14,000 pounds at 65mph with 20mpg indefinitely (so long as fuel was supplied). It also had 150miles of all-electric range if you charged it. Diesel-electric is probably better, if only because we've had diesel-electric trains for forever allowing it to be a bit more mature, but fossil-electric with plug-in capabilities has a lot of advantages over the other options.

Basically, you get all your torque at the bottom which is great for towing. My truck has a 10 speed transmission with the first two gears being down-geared for additional torque for getting heavy loads moving. Speaking of which, you don't need a 10 speed transmission to optimize mileage anymore. You can run your engine at its most efficient output level 100% of the time. If that's too much power just throw it in the battery, once the battery is above 30% just run the truck on battery power until it's below 20% then do it again. You've already got all the equipment needed to charge and run off of a battery, so just make the battery beefy enough to handle the day-to-day operations of the vehicle while having the option to throw in some gas if you're going to be under heavy load or going for a longer trip

Basically it's what actually makes sense as a transitional form of transportation between fossil and electric, a proper halfstep built on mature technology (scaling down from locomotive powertrains), instead of the quarter-step of a plug-in hybrid or the clumsy baby-step of traditional hybrids where you have to invent clunky less reliable transmissions that have to accept power from multiple engines of multiple power levels

For anyone curious about specifics, apparently Ramaswamy adheres to the Advaita Vedanta tradition of Hinduism which can be presented as a kind of monotheism as it asserts that only Brahman (the supreme absolute reality) is truly real, while the individual self (Atman) is identical to Brahman. The matter gets more complicated when one looks deeper into the topic though.
Which part says that you should fake an Alzheimer's drug trial and then sell it off before anyone catches on?

Covid screwed with a lot of kids including myself (Why else would I be on the farms *sigh*). Regardless, Gen Z is in the camp of a far right society where everyone is fucking femboys, trannies, and women- a far left society where everyone is fucking trannies, femboys, and interracial sex- or a far right society where everyone is straight and no more LGBTQ+. Anyway you see it, most are faggots, some more covert than others.
