As always, he's gonna need to show proof that supporting Jan 6th is truely evil or he's just malding, which given his track record in just this page of the thread, is very likely what he is doing.

Slime is a sperg but I don't think this is pearl clutching about J6 per se, more just part of whatever sustained campaign he thinks he's fighting about Wendigoon being a hypocrite. The AI stuff has merit given Wendigoon's recent video on the AI slophorror series while using AI thumbs/selling AI merch, but this just seems like an effort to rile up the majority of Wendigoon's newer fans who are Welcome to Night Vale tumblr types hooked on Creepcast.

Don't think it'll work, he lucked out with the PMoth video getting the reach it did but his attempts to replicate it with Wendigoon aren't getting close to the level of attention those did. Which tracks, since the stakes are much lower than 'guy selling uncensored CSAM on Patreon and attempting life ruination on anyone who calls it out'.

Part of me was thinking about this for a bit and post UrbanSPOOK crashout was the peak of the decline of this weird community. AH was already in a sharp declined but the cliqueish nature of the discourse against UrbanSPOOK was effectively the end.

Local 58 has done some amazing stuff but wow was that... basic.

Living computer that is basically being tortured by being alive. That's been done by tons and tons of sci-fi novels/movies/TV, so they prefixed it with the "modern day LLMs... are LE BAD!!" shit so I'm sure people are going to eat it up.

Seems to be kicking off an ARG of some kind, of course. There's vaguely spooky shit on the Ethics page, and the Research page has a link to an e-mail address to ask for more info.

The Ethics page has an unlisted video embedded, but just seems to be the same video without the "advertisement" at the start:

Just so weird for Kris to be so behind the ball when he's typically been at the forefront of defining internet horror. I guess post-Local58 he's been doing absolute slop tier collabs and projects so I'm not shocked these suck too, it's just unfortunate given that every internet horror project is either trooned, jumping the shark, or full of played-out ideas.

Anomidae has uploaded an update video after nearly 6 months sense INTERLOPER had ended
Long and short of it is, the next series WANDER\\STUCK has been in development and will still take some time for Episode one to release. The reason being that the project is rather ambitious and it will make sense why once the episode is released. My bet is that he's making an actual source game to go along with the episodes because the ARG is literally about a fictional game with a fictional ARG that was likely a cover to crowed source an investigation into the same mystery Anomidae investigated in the Interloper series.

Different subject... new creepcast is another story by CK Walker. I immediately turned it off once I saw that. Is it worth watching/reading or does it have the same issue as all her other stories where the set up is interesting and it gets progressively worse until it reaches a terrible ending?

The Max and Ruby video has been making the rounds on /co/. Someone reported it and it has now been taken down by the author of the books. Also one of the members of the project was kicked off for drawing zoophilia.

This feels like the opposite of how old comics had to rush the background of villans to meet deadlines, so they were shallow or stupid. Now no matter how much time you put into it, it becomes a matter of whats being spoken about today because timelessness doesn't seem as deep of a conversation.

Yeah that Local58 wasn't good. He really should've ended it at Digital Transition. That would've been a great place to end it.

Nah I think that was the beginning of the fall. To this day I still don't know what that was even about. Skywatching at least delivered a satisfying culmination to the show's only real narrative. Now it feels like he's only sticking with the Local58 brand because it's what's gotten him the most attention (and $$$money$$$... presumably).

It was literally just about the US ending analog TV broadcasting and setting up for a new season.

I'm annoyed he literally does nothing with it, it sticks with the old format and analog style, rather than a planned story, he just randomly shits something out once and a while.
