That’s certainly an interesting idea, But I was trying to make them sort of uncontrollable. They support nazism sure but they hold no allegiance to the fuhrer or the nazi party, Only for their neo tribes. They deliberately avoid the army or formal party institutions, instead taking their rouge SA squads into hot zones to get away from a now boring sterile germany. In these hot zones, They express the aryan spirit by burning down villages, Taking photos imitating greek statues with their dead victims, And just generally enacting TND. You could imagine them as wandering berserkers, enacting a race war without restraint and on their own terms

I had this other idea of pan european scouting events where all the state ran youth groups would meet up and do boy scout things as a way to smooth over formerly bad relations. I assume this would have already happened otl but an idea that I personally added is field trips to european colonies.

So imagine a story where the english, french, and german scouts take a field trip to kenya to see the elephants and go on safari, Only to get stranded and being forced to work together to survive. Be a little wholesome short story about some of the interesting things that could happen in a pan european colonial world

It will forever crack me up that the MLP mod is one of the highest regarded and best functioning mods in HOI4.
No real drama, no bullshit, just consistent releases and impressive modifications.
They were the first mod to make it so Capital ship production could use more than 5 Naval Yards.

It probably helps because the median age of Bronies are well into their 30s if not nearing 40 already as of this year.

I never seen any zoomer Bronies before, almost all the Bronies that exist today all got into MLP in the early 2010s when they were in their late teens to 20s and continue to get older. They also have the old-school kind of autism where they are hyper-competent in a hobby they actually enjoy instead of the new kind of autism that revolves around petty drama and degeneracy.

The lockdowns in 2020 to 2021 fucked up a lot of zoomers which lead to many becoming troons or ending up into 764 degeneracy but most Bronies were already adults by then and weathered the storm like nothing happened.

People shit on millennials and older people all the time but an advantage is that people who are over 30+ y/o tend to be more competent and less prone to internet drama unless they are already internet celebrities like Idubbbz.

I think the fictional settings contributes a lot to the pony and Fallout mods getting very little in the way of drama and political sperging unlike the mods that allow maniacs with politically induced brain rot to write ideological fanfics about their favorite politicians. I'm sure that it exists but it clearly doesn't lead to the same behind the scenes insanity as TNO or even Kaiserreich to give a more stable example.

I think you're overestimating the median ages a bit but you're fundamentally right. TNO in particular has had a lot of teenagers involved in its development both of the mod itself and related mods. Especially ones that don't even care about HOI4 but just like the vibes of super event compilations and the implications of their favorite LARP country. I'd say TNO was also hit harder because you don't have the same barrier of entry for what's essentially a VN. It's not a coincidence that these are the same people that cut all wars from their mod and exclusively focus on GUI eyesores.

In my defense, I don't remember coding this in, maybe it's because conservatism and despotism (Israel and ISIS's ideologies) are only separated from each other by AuthDem?
