If this is true, either:

A: The kids are the most retarded to not know and not question what happened.

B: The kids were fed some cockamamie story that we cannot fathom, and they bought into the delusion.
C. The kids just nod and go 'uh huh, whatever dad, okay' because they know he's a strung out loser and they just want him to leave them alone with the least amount of narctwig antics.

So in his infinite wisdom, Nick is talking about his legal strategy, which is to bring up irrelevant things during trial, to continue harassing Aaron while on the stand, under oath, testifying?
We’re getting ever closer to the Chewbacca defence. I’m all for it.

... Wait, is the Steel Toe Morning Show bigger than I thought, or Rumble smaller than I thought?
The second one. Still a win though!

"Why would Nick Rekieta, a successful lawyer from rural Minnesota... whats this? He is not a lawyer? Alright. Let me start over."

"Why would Nick Rekieta a successful streamer ... what? He isn't successful? Alright. Let me start over."

"Why would Nick Rekieta, a streamer from rural Minnesota ... what IS IT NOW?? He only streams sporadically and the area isn't rural? Fuck me, is anything he told us true?"

"Why would Nick Rekieta, from Minnesota, harass a disgraced twice-divorced wannabe radio shock-jock he does not even care about? It does NOT MAKE SENSE! ... what now? You mean ... our client let the guy fuck his wife? They hung out before? Your honor, may I have a minute to confer with my client?"

Mere minutes into it and straight to that cock he misses so much. This is fucking pitiful.

Nick: "One of the things I am accused of is talking about Aaron's tiny penis."

Which... you are doing right now.

It would be like saying 'People are accusing me of doing hard drugs like thiiis' and then immediately smoking crack out of glass pipe.

Nick needs other people to believe his kids don’t know anything that went on, despite there being extensive court documents showing that is false. In fact, the court transcripts reveal the heartbreaking fact that his oldest child wanted to take responsibility for monitoring his parents’ behavior and helping keep them off drugs.

Nick is lying, as he always does. Remember, he claims if the topic is “nobody’s business” then lying about it isn’t dishonest.

Nick gravitates to these new shows where nobody knows any of this, specifically because he thinks he can fool them into becoming fans, boosting his dog shit numbers and putting more Walmart “wagyu” in his belly. It won’t work, but watching him desperately scratch around in the dust for bugs to eat is hilarious to watch.

I'm not a lawyer, but I still fail to understand how do people conclude that being under a restraining order means "you cannot answer questions or testify in your own defense regarding something". It sounds surreal that a legal system would allow some sort of indefensible situation like that.

I imagine at least one of these scenarios must be true or the law is a special kind of stupid:
  1. It's simply fine to answer in court to whatever questions you are asked in court
  2. If a defendant is not allowed to talk about something in court, lawyers are not allowed to ask the defendant questions about it either
  3. If neither 1 or 2 are automatically true, a defendant can inform all the courts that may be invested in the defendant that a silly catch-22 situation exists and they either agree to grant a special exemption for 1 or 2
@Potentially Criminal can you clarify this? (if you haven't done it several times by now)
Nick can't bait Aaron into breaking his probation terms by addressing issues while he's on the stand. If Nick tried that, Aaron's attorney would nip that in the bud anyway on relevancy grounds.

If it were that simple, they could just drag Kayla into the courtroom and being 10 feet from her would cause Aaron tons of problems.

There is a public policy interest in having people testifiy truthfully in court, and we want to encourage that by immunizing them from things like defamation or harassment.

The kids were present when all three of them got arrested, and a tearful Kayla said "This is the consequence of our own actions!" as per Momma K's description of the bodycam footage. EDIT: I stand corrected, it was from Miss Sweep overhearing Kayla outside the courtroom.

The kids have zero clue what went on, totally none. They were not even aware the parents got arrested! Boy scout promise!

The kids, at least the younger ones, will accept just about any story because they don't want it to be true because they want their parents to be good people. Probably they do know, but override it with whatever wacky cope Nick and Qayla cooked up. The amount of shit kids will put up with before telling people is insane, and often when they are older they recount it as something like "I kinda knew it wasn't right, but I also didn't really know it was wrong"

She was in court with Nick and Aaron for this recent hearing, wasnt she?

Talk to any adult who was in an abusive or neglectful home as a kid. Even those who were violently assaulted, even sexually, will say that they wanted it to stop but also knew that to speak up would decimate their family’s lives and didn’t want to be responsible for that. Abused kids also still retain the essential bond with their parents that makes them hope the abuse will stop and they can all be a happy family someday. That’s how adolescent brains are wired.

If Nick gave a singular shit about his children, he would have pulled the plug on his internet life as soon as he was arrested and found a way to make a living offline. But Nick only cares about Nick, so tough shit, kids: Your trauma is internet fodder permanently, and your father will keep talking about it as long as doing so yields revenue.

Nothing major, but just to clarify. Kayla discussing the consequences of our actions did not come from Moma K, but from Ms Sweep overhearing Kayla.

3) For once there was a brief glimpse of conscience and contrition in Kayla, when she tearfully hugged her eldest out in the hallway and said "these are the consequences of our actions." Will Nick ever acknowledge the same?

Nick has memorized the length of Aaron's penis to the millimeter!

He YEARNS for it !
I dont have time to make it happen today. So photo shop friends go nuts.. Nick yerns for Aarons (Larger than Nicks) moderock..

So IANAL but..Nick is saying he has all these text messages to say Aaron hates his kids, abuses his last two wives etc that he wants to bring up.
Does that open the door, or is it even allowed to have testimony from a witness to refute those claims?

Because it would be very funny and weird if April got subpoena'd to provide evidence to refute his claims. Especially as her new BF seems to hate crackieta like the best of us.

I imagine having April testify against him in the HRO would be absolutely devastating to him, but oh so funny
Why hasn't Nick released them yet, then?
says it's ridiculous to bar him from talking about Aaron at Hackamania, because that's the only reason he's going
This is possibly the dumbest thing anyone's ever said in history. "I refuse to abide by the don't harass Aaron at hackamania order because harassing Aaron is the only reason I'm going!"

"You can go to Hackamania if you agree to not harass Aaron"
"But.... I am harassing Aaron"

Someone needs to ask Nick how he would feel if he didn't eat lunch yesterday.

Nick only wants a cut-price lawyer who will do whatever he orders him to do. Now it’s dawned on him that White doesn’t meet the criteria. Randazza sure as shit doesn’t either.

I love this for him. What are the odds Nick gets a new, cheap local attorney and asks for more time to let new counsel get acquainted with the case?
