Wentzell will impose some at least some sort of sanction. I get some people might be disappointed in the sanction, and I would liked to have seen something harsher too, but this is a start.

I suspect they put him on a more lax plan where he gets the dates and has to manage the dates and times himself, instead of the previous "we call, you show up or else" approach of random testing. And he instantly fucked it up because Nick cannot bet trusted to tie his shoe laces. The punishment isn't harsher because the infraction is minor. I am not disappointed at all, I am just happy to watch Nick spiral again. I am actually surprised he managed to not fuck up for this long.

Considering how Nick is behaving, the complete lack of any self-reflection, loss of capacity to follow basic logic, apparent loss of cognitive function, and seeing Kayla babysit him in Vegas, where people commented on how unhappy she looked and she did NOT want to be there... really makes me bring back the theories about "Nick's worst day".

I'd like to pitch the idea that Nick has a chronic illness and the severe cognitive decline is just the start.

Nick, in admitting missing the tests, has accepted a sanction of a) increased drug testing and b) 16 hours of community service completed in the next month in lieu of confinement.

So the previous PO gave up before she started and the new one argues back. But imagine all the lazy incompetent and corrupt pencil pushers in the system. Rekieta is not worth it for them. Or his local family clout has an influence. Or both.
But he's worn his welcome out completely in some places in the system.
