The judge's clerk or whoever they are is already looking into it anyway.
And the doctor involved has done this entirely to himself which even his friends are saying. They're also saying he needs to cut Melton and Rekieta loose which you know, no shit.
 
Some Melton hunch-sucker sent a Superchat to MLC saying the Dr. Steve issue is a nothingburger because Nevada and Virginia have medical license reciprocity.

This is incorrect, of course. A VA doctor can apply for a separate Nevada license through the IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) process. But that has to be done in advance. A VA doctor can’t rock up to an event in Vegas and write a doctor’s note for a new patient who lives in Nevada.

Same applies to Tennessee-licensed physicians.

By all accounts of Dr. Steve being a star fucker, its likely Rekieta and Melton underplayed, ignored or painfully unaware of the potential risks this involved.
I'd be mega pissed if I was him.

There has now been two pieces of good news, since the 10th, on the judicial front.

The first is that the HRO judge is clearly getting sick and tired Nick and Melton's bullshit. He denied their motion for a continuance, and seems to now be at least somewhat savvy to what their game is. Nick has since been freaking the fuck out, which is never a good sign.

Secondly, it's now been finally shown that Kandiyohi probation will violate Rekieta, and Wentzell will impose at least some sort of sanction. I get some people might be disappointed in the sanction, and I would liked to have seen something harsher too, but this is a start.

Minnesota is still dogshit, of course, and I would never argue otherwise, but it seems like it's acting at least slightly better than average lately.

Question now is whether it will continue.

Nick was 100% the type of kid to say that a teacher/professor was an "asshole" or "bad" because they expected their students to act their age, to care, and didn't just hand out A's like candy.

I’d only kept up with the Rekieta stuff passively through hearing Josh talk about it on MATI. The story of his downfall was crazy, but given everything with his family, it was just too depressing to actively look into.

Having not actually watched a single video of his in like five years (first exposure was when he had Metokur on waaaay back), and seeing this incarnation of Nick, in this ridiculous red suit, the sunglasses, the colorful posters in the background, looking completely fucking out of it… Trying to be like “Yeah, I’ve totally been sober” is actually fucking hysterical lmao, one of the best things I’ve seen in awhile.

Can’t believe this is the same guy, what a fucking trip.

EDIT: I have been informed that those “posters” are actually paintings he actually payed to have made. Holy shit, I get it. This dude did so much blow he decided it would a good idea to lean into the image that he’s a total cokehead. What a fucking loser.
