I was recently reminded of how incompetent the Australian government and judicial system is when I was found that Billy Mitchell won the defamation suit against Karl Jobst. What an absolute fucking disgrace of a judge. A true moron.

Disputed claims

You didn't follow the case at all did you. Billy won because the case was about Karl saying he caused a speedrunner to commit suicide and implied it was from financial distress afaik there was no financial component of the lawsuit. Billy wasn't even mentioned in the guys suicide note.

Only person who gave a fuck about Billy's videogame record was Karl who made it a major part of his case, the judge rightfully gave no fucks about it. Go read up on the thread and join in on making fun of the albino faggot

Not again. For fuck's sake. I'm tired of explaining this. The information is readily out there and you should research the facts yourself instead of repeating hearsay.

Apollo absolutely did get served with a $1,000,000 lawsuit and it absolutely did cause him distress. He even posted a video about it before taking it down where he expressed this. The one technicality, which the judge harped on, is that no money actually was exchanged between him and Billy. Because they settled out of court. Karl suspected that the lawsuit played a role in Apollos suicide. Go listen to his own words. That alone is not sufficient cause for defamation. The incompetent judge took Karl's other statements as thinking of himself as a hero and being above the law, and the judge ruled based on emotions.

There is a big difference between saying, "I think the lawsuit contributed to him taking his life", and "BILLY MURDERED APOLLO!!" Billy, by the way, literally equated it to being accused of murder.

The fact I, a layman, have to explain this to 99% of people demonstrates clearly how incompetent and unfit to be a judge the average person is. You, like the judge, didn't follow the case at all. And yet have the gall to say that toward me
