there are some things that are idiotic specifically because people cant just take you at your word when you recant because it would be foolish to do so. it would be moronic to see trump purge the military, his advisors, his base, his favorite podcasters, for being against his increasing irrational and desperate decisions and then see him portray himself as a healer messiah and to not be weary of him trying to grow a cult. you would have to be gullible in the extreme to not have your guard up and treat it like all he did was another obama monkey video (which he shouldnt have backed down on) or any other minor faux pas of etiquette

The Catholic Church runs numerous NGOs and "charity groups" that exist to help illegal invaders evade justice and get set up with transportation further into the country and hooked up with other contacts. They have a vested financial interest in using agitprop to their followers to get them to turn on Trump because if the border flow stops and illegals go home there goes the money those charities take in.

I never get why they don't just follow the money to the grants that fund them and cut them directly, a lot of them were with USAID but many of them keep chugging. They are getting funded from somewhere.

Shit like this has fully convinced me that the church has been corrupted by the eternal baby boomer and that in 2026, truly faithful christians, be them Catholic, Orthodox or Protestant, are faithful in spite of the organizations and not because of them.

No. I lived there when all this shit was happening. They were hosting endless rainbow brigade events in their parks, actively sponsoring local LGBTBBQ+ events off-site (including that classic drag queens for kids garbage), funding local and regional efforts to claw back against efforts to excise DEI from education and government, and making tons of local noise about how shitty Florida was being about fags in general.

They also had faggot employees being obnoxious and failed to fire them as they should have, but they were doing plenty of other horseshit too. They absolutely deserved being pantsed and having their "city" ripped away from them.

Older voting age zoomers are still more like millennials but the younger males actually are trending further right, at least on social issues. A lot of them just don't think Trump does enough on that front, which is still a loss to Trump, but we have a growing population of military age males who have grown up being wokescolded by fat browns who don't speak their language. They are entering the adult world where immigrants take priority over them, their inheritance has been sold out from them, women have been trained to focus on careers instead of family or monogamy and the job market has been saturated by fucking indians.

I would genuinely not be surprised to see an actual Hitler parallel arise in some western country before this is all over.

You can tell it's a most boring news cycle because people are still talking about a shitpost.
In the grand scheme of things this doesn't matter.
But the reactions are indicative of a few things. Catholics are desperate to be taken seriously. Showing that to some extent they realize how much of a joke they are and recoil from that without ever doing anything to become serious.
And that Trump has become such a constant in people's minds that he is the main focus of give a shit even if nothing important is happening right now.
This may affect the mid terms it may not. It's still a long time from the election and Trump isn't trying to woo voters. But piss off somebody directly and they may not change their minds.

To sum it up to something more useful I think a lot of people have lost the mental image of Democrats in power and may become tempted by it. Even with what is happening in Virginia on the news now and then.

Most churches are pretty Leftist and pozzed. I tend to ignore a lot of the political nonsense and stay at my church mostly out of respect for my Pastor, otherwise I'd be searching out a new one, 'cause they mention "ORANGE MAN BAD" way too often to the point where my eye twitches every time someone brings it up.
