Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

because 90% of Iran's exports leave through the strait not the Caspian, because the countries that will want to see those exports (like china) don't get it through the caspian and this will increase pressure on Iran from them as well.

This isn't a situation of "well you blocked one outlet so it's just all going to go to the other one" the "other one" in this case doesn't function at the same level, and doesn't get imports and exports to and from the same places.

The caspian being there doesn't "defeat the purpose" of the blockade any more than the fact that Iran has land routes into turkey would defeat the purpose, which is to say, it doesn't defeat it at all.

That doesn't change the fact hardly anything in the grand scheme of things gets done there, let alone enough to support 90 millon people who god willing, won't have any power and water soon thanks to Israel. All their ports and pipelines are there to be blown up as needed, whatever it takes to fold them up.
You guys are thinking about this one-dimensionally, as if Iran is a rational actor not currently in an existential crisis. First of all, Iran is not acting rationally. Even if just 10% of exports are out of the Caspian at this moment, does not mean that they couldn’t direct more in order to stay afloat, which leads to the next thing: Iran is dealing with an existential crisis. This means it effectively has nothing to lose, and thus will continue to be retarded as long as it sees a chance of surviving, even if it’s the slimmest of chances. This is not all that different from late-war Japan which had no capability to win the war but continued to fight anyway. It wasn’t until the Soviet Union declared war that they finally decided to surrender.

I hope the IRGC gave you a nice deal on the material for that strawman.
How is it a strawman? The last American lead invasion into the middle east was because of WMDs. We went to war to stop the Islamists from getting WMDs and/or using them depending on how you phrase it. This war is again saying Iran has WMDs or is very close to them. So we must go to war with them before they get a nuke and use it.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice.. I'm a fat fuck McDonalds loving cowboy I guess? I think that's the American version. Last time I heard it there was a lot of muttering and stuttering from your president.

You're making a mountain out of a molehill.

US caved on missiles and drones, screwing over both Israeli and GCCs if this was to be agreed on

Why are you getting Afghanistan confused with Iraq? Even leaving aside the confusion on adversaries, you dips can't even help from indulging in these false analogies, because Iraq's supposed program was based on little more than pathetic efforts to get materials related to getting it started up again. Iran has empirically enriched uranium far beyond levels that they actually need for their supposed energy program, signed an agreement that they weren't going to do that anymore, and then got caught lying that they were doing it. Not to mention the fact that they're refusing to budge on limitations to that program. If it was as peaceful as you seem to believe it is, it wouldn't be an issue.

As much as Trump gets mocked for his "trust the plan" nonsense, what was the plan by the supposed "fucking grownups" to deal with that, other than more can-kicking and pretending it wasn't happening?

Making money is never risk and consequence free. Just ask the people currently tolling the strait.

My research tells me that approximately 10,000 ships transit the strait of Hormuz each year. At $1 million each that's $10 billion a year in toll revenue.

Which is just 5% of the amount asked for by the Pentagon to fund Operation Epic Fury so far.

While making money may never be risk and consequence free, it also requires income to exceed expenditure.

WMD intelligent was water tight. 100% proof. All the experts agree... And then it wasn't. Same old shit. Same old invading Muslim countries for no good reason just to support Israel some more.

I can kind of understand his reasoning, given everything on the list.
Missiles and drones are a pain in the ass, but they can be weathered if proper defenses are prepared and their stockpiles destroyed/cutoff, as has been proven over the last month.
Their proxies, like Hezbollah, do more consistent harm to Israel and the rest of the Gulf than their in-country supply of rockets does, and Vance's main goal with these talks was to limit Iranian power projection as much as possible while still not taking such a hardline stance that they could say we offered them nothing.
Regardless, they still refused to accept even the most minuscule of non-proliferation requests, so it's all pointless anyway.

Yeah, Iran is way undercharging. Don't worry, we're going to turn management of the fees over to Ticketmaster. They'll get the revenue up.

Figure out a way to harness all the kinetic energy from that hand-waving, and Iran won't need uranium for their power program. And I know this is going to come as a shock to jewspergs, but you and your Jewposter adversaries here care more about what happens regarding Israel than the rest of us do.

A few weeks or ago when all the CNN articles about how Trump failed to initiate rebellion against the regime came out, people here were saying the reason the royalist rebels hadn't mobilized to overthrow the government is because Trump and Pahlavi was telling them to wait for the bombs to stop.
Can I get a TLDR; on if Pahlavi is worth paying attention to or not? How organized are the rebel coalition?
I think it’s fair to say there will be no rebellion. I will gladly wear a burger suit if I am wrong but I am definitely correct
